Never realized how scary this could be. Last nite the grandkids were over and my grandaughter found some peanut butter cups. She ate about 3 and then my grandson wanted one. Well, he took a bite and immediatly spit it out. Within 10 seconds his lips and tongue were swollen. He kept trying to wipe the taste off. Then blotches appeared on his face and chest he started rubbing his eyes and 10 minutes later he was vomiting and shaking. Off to the hospital where they gave him Prednizone and Benedril. 30 minutes later he was fine. He ended up staying there 4 hours for observation.
Scary thing.
Strange thing is that he has tasted peanut putter and spit it out and said "No like" and the nite before he had a peanut M&M and spit that out too. We had no idea.
