This movie was a lot of fun to watch. Denzel kicks ass and Gary Oldman (Batman Returns, The Dark Knight, True Romance, The Fifth Element) has been let out of his cage. Gary Oldman is back.

One of the reasons I find this movie to be extremely cool - was that you are watching the movie thinking about what you would do in post-apocalyptic world.

I enjoyed this movie and I feel I got my money's worth.

If you liked: The Postman, WaterWorld - then you will love this movie - if however, you did not enjoy those movies - stay away from The Book of Eli.

Wow! Putting a disclaimer that you need to like Waterworld is a HUGE filter.

I am one of the few people I know that actually didn't hate that movie.

I am excited to see The Book of Eli.

My son and I just got back from seeing it. Keeping in mind, Nole is easily entertained, we thought it was very good. The way it ended was beyond cool!

My son couldn't decide if "Eli" or "Sherlock Holmes" was better.

Neat story. Definitely worth admission.


We'll see YOU at the movies!

My sister saw it yesterday and didn't like it, but I never trust a womans point of view about any movie.
I also enjoyed the postman and waterworld, thanks for the review.

I have the movie waterworld and have watched it quite a few times.


I think the reason I watch it is that I love the ocean and it makes you feel like you are right there with him.

would give it a 3 out of 5 :D


good movie i saw on dvd called Pandorum:0corn

Another good low-budget ($7,000) sci-fi film is Primer.

Nothing spectacular, but a good story and decent acting.... for $7K

Saw "The Road" yesterday. I hope Eli is better than that boring ass flick.

The only torrents for Eli so far are CAMS :nono:

Been downloading Curb Your Enthusiasm. I now have the complete seasons 3 through 9.

I never have seen an episode until this morning.
