Extraordinary Measures

I'm only 35 minutes into this one and can tell it's a big winner. I'm loving this flick already!

Brendan Fraser, Harrison Ford and Keri Russell.

Well, it's supposed to be based on a true story, but there are a lot of holes in that. Things just don't work like that in real life.

Harrison Ford is good as always, IMO, and Fraser is decent too. He's also a very underated actor.

This is kinda like the typical movie you would see on LifeTime channel, or whatever they call it.

I liked it and give it 3 outta 5.

There's nothing "IN" about it, but they may be something "OUT" about it.

I've watched a few in my days with the Mrs. They are fucking terrible. The stroylines are so elementary with too much melodrama for my tastes.

The reason I don't like these movies are probably very similar to why women don't like big action flicks for the most part.

And for you to say Brendan Fraser is under-rated? He had the world by the balls after School Ties then just started picking TERRIBLE scripts.

Wow, I see what you mean. No wonder I don't hear much about him because most of his movies I don't even consider watching.

"The Last Time" is a good one with Michael Keaton.

I saw this movie when it first came out....They were stoned while filming it & I was stoned while watching it....& I don't remember much about the movie, other than it was rather slow.....:142smilie

Did you enjoy it Joker ?

It was good....not great. Marlon wasn't Marlon. Jack was Jack, so that was good. There is a scene with horses swimming - looks like one of them drowne - for real.

I give it a 5 out of 10
