Obviously didn't help that they were competing with the NBA finals and MTV awards (which I had no idea was on until I saw the news today) but I still have no idea why the two leagues would schedule games in the exact same time slots. So stupid. I still think last nights Game 2 of the NBA finals should have been played on Saturday giving the teams 2 days off to travel 3000 miles east for game 3 instead of just 1 day. :shrug:

I'm not a hockey fan at all, but I will say I've watched some of the playoffs and found them to be pretty exciting. I actually watched more of the hockey game last night than I did the NBA Finals, but then again I find the NBA excruciating to watch.

The only thing about hockey is that it's a bitch to try and follow the puck at all times. Anyone remember a few years ago when either Fox or ESPN put the flashing tail thing on the puck so you could follow it easier? Yeah, that wasn't cheesy or anything. :142smilie

It's a really good reason to drink on a weeknight with the neighbors and a good excuse to get to work late the next day. All you've got to do is yell out "Get 'em, Steeger!!" or "You suck, Pronger!!" every couple of minutes.

I can't imagine watching it sober, though

You also have to remember that Game 4 was also on Versus and not on NBC. 75% of people have Versus and until March satellite TV in Chicago did not carry Versus.

Personally I think those numbers are pretty skewed. Now I know your argument is going to be Seth, your team is playing in this thing so of course you care. Well, last night I watched the NBA finals which were on at the same time once the Hawks got up 2-0
