Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Gays... it never ends with you DTB. What part of Obama's or Bloomberg's statements below do you disagree with?

?This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country, and will not be treated differently by their government, is essential to who we are.?
-- President Obama

?This proposed mosque and community center in Lower Manhattan is as important a test of the separation of church and state as we may see in our lifetime, and I applaud President Obama?s clarion defense of the freedom of religion tonight.?
-- Mayor Bloomberg

i dont agree with them putting a mosque there

but freedom of religion is what this country stands for.

Unless we change the constitution

Maybe DTBlackgumby can post a chart about
how getting rid of freedom of religion would make
things better.

I was pissed when they took prayer out of school

I was pissed when they wouldnt let us say the Pledge of Allegiance anymore in schools.

But blame it on the Supreme Court.

These ppl have the money. They are saying that it will be a place where everyone can go.

Maybe you need to read up on it some before you comment.

oh I forgot ... DTBlackgumby dont read anything before he posts :142smilie

Cant wait until the next time you pull out the Master Race card again.

I got a idea .

Maybe we can let them build the place and then drop a bunker buster on the top of it and take it out.

That would make a statement

The key word there is near. This escapes a lot of people. The mosque will be built 3 blocks from ground zero. If it were on ground zero, I would understand why a lot of people take issue with it. So my question to those who oppose it is... What would be an acceptable distance from ground zero on which a mosque could be bulit?

no overseas money should be allowed

who is paying for this ?

Still avoiding the question. Some old dogs.
only question I see avoided is this one-
:0corn

Out of curiousity--who is top curser in your family? Took a few minutes to explore theories on what causes this dysfunctional disorder--and believe I've hit apon the answer.

According to article below its combination of your social backround-and neurological and psychological state.

One theory is ?Neuro-Psycho-Social Theory? of Speech.
In NPS theory, cursing operates through rules that are akin to conditional if-then statements: ?IF neurological state + psychological state + social setting, THEN + or ? chance of cursing (Jay, 2000).

I'm not giving you any personal information, you stalker. Why are you afraid to answer a question about the issues that we are discussing?

Can't say I go along with religion of 7 virgins --beheadings--suicide bombing--stoning of women ETC ETC--that is taking place world wide.
Granted those are a radical aspect of religion--but still a practicing form of Islam relgion.

I'm also for personal freedoms--once a criminal pays his debt to society he's a free man--however doesn't mean I feel a previously convicted pedophile should be allowed run a day care center after release.

However I would have no problem on either above if effects were confined to only those to be held responsible for their convictions.
Sad thing is others have to always pay for their "liberal logic"
