So, what did/do you Madjacker's do after a nice dinner on a first date?

After a divorce, and a long term relatinship... I have been dating a bit... but admittedly I am lost for ideas for first dates...

Got one on Saturday, going to a nice restaurant for Steaks, and she has requested something quiet so we can get to know each other... ok,, ok, very simple to do, and it i has been done quite a bit... but I am running out of ideas for something afterwards.

Last week, a different lady wanted dinner and a movie. Dinner to get to know each other, and a flick she wanted to see. So, I gathered a nice flower arranegement... must admit they were beautiful, went to the restaurant prior to picking her up, dropped them off so they would be at the table for our dinner. They put them out on the table, and it was a very nice presentations. Yep, it worked, she loved it. But, I hate doing the same thing twice... this second part was easy because she requested a movie.

So, this is jumbled, but come up with your best ideas for something to do after dinner, besides these: (Sex, movie, dancing.. those are traditional :0008 ) Keep in mind, it is freaking cold out now, so a wark in the park, star gazing, just is not in the cards. Either is skiing, snowmobiling, or freezing my buns!

Why not just a nice place to eat that also has entertainment in the bar area as well. We have a nice steak and seafood place we go to around the corner and after we're done we always have a drink or two in the bar and listen to the lady that plays a piano and sings. That way you don't have to get back out in the cold. It gives you built in entertainment, something easy to talk about and also gives you more info on her when you start seeing what songs she likes.

Hmmm...

What about this idea for humor, fun, and enjoying

Stop by the MOA (Mall of America) Type up a scavenger hunt list of people to find, sit down / walk around and find people on the list together. Would provide some fun conversation, activity, and then we can slip into another restaurant/ bar for a drink or dessert?

Ideas would be:

Find a person:

With a LIP piercing
Person with Mohwak
Missing front teeth
Plaid Shirt
Wife beater on... (It's winter in MN, someone will still be wearing one)
Someone with Bluetooth in ear
Someone in Capri's


Got any other thoughts for the list.... I mean the Mall will have all types!!


Just thinking out loud...

I like that, but I am not familiar (sadly) with anyplace like that where we will be.... bad enough picking a restaurant out... LOL! I still ended up choosing one that is a mini-chain, bt great food!! Like an adjoining Piano Bar would have been awedsome!!

Honestly, unless the lady is really cool and laid back this can be an absolute bomb for you. You'll find yourself laughing at things that she might find offensive or worse you having to hold back laughing because you don't know how she feels about it. If she's really cool then it's a great idea BUT it's not the best place to get to know each other. You're pretty much not going to pay attention to her for an hour or so.
