What I neglected to say in all of this, as I text Nole I got my third 300 tonight, he writes back I was just getting ready to send you a message that I had an 801 (279-278-244) and in my opinion is harder to get than a 300. In all my years of bowling I had a 796-794 but never an 800. Phucker.....congratulations. Thanks to all.

In all serious, I do think Nole might have had or has his Pro Card. I have tried out in some regional stuff about 7-8 years ago, it's hard because one mistake and you are dead. It's like anything else, a committment, those guys on tour throw hundreds of games a week if not more, and many may have their equipment sponsor there at a given location or "house" to bring a ball or drill a ball to what is needed for a particular oil pattern.

Thanks bud, that gives me 3 sanctioned and 1 un-sanctioned.

Whats funny it is my first since 3/20/03. And to make it even funnier, I wear a slide sock on my shoe. Well, mine is brand new and I was sliding all over the place the first 2 games (204-213), and one of my teammates says to me lets switch slide socks. I said ok for the 3rd game, and look out from there, easiest 300 I have ever had. In between, I have had 4 299's over the years.

What a rush, as my dad was the first one to greet me. Nothing better on this planet than to have my dad witness it. I have had a full scholarship to college for hoops, and he has seen many good games through the years, but it was my honor to be on the same team as him and him to see it live. Such a rush for those that don't know.

Nice work, you two. And its no contest between a 800 series and a 300 game. I've seen plenty of 300s shot by guys that avg less than 180 a game--not to say its not hard--I've never shot one--295 :facepalm: being my best game, but I've shot a 768 series--averaged 256 for the night-- which means not only are you "on" for one game that night, you are "on" for all 3 games.
A couple of weeks ago a guy in my league on Wednesday night shot a 300 with a 632 series....:scared and I've seen that done more times than I can count.
FWIW, I've been on a major roll the last 6 weeks--nothing less than a 655 series--shot 682 and 677 the last two weeks--and started the run with back to back 700s--boosted my average to 216 on the season.

Again, congrats to jr11 and Nole, as a bowler I really do understand the thrill of shooting these types of honor scores. Good job, gentleman!!:00hour

That's the only bowling I have ever done and that was about 45 years ago :scared
