Simple appetizer

Buffalo shrimp.

Pick and peel two pounds of shrimp. 26-30 for ten bucks at Acme this week (2lbs easy peels). Put flour in a ziplock bag or a simple bag of some sort. Throw some shrimp in and shake the bag. Pick them out of the flour and deep fry them. Put ur buffalo sauce in a big bowl and throw the fried shrimp in the bowl and put a lid on it. Shake them up. Um um. Not that hard to make. No egg needed for the flour coating. Just straight up flour.

Cocktail sauce mix
Ketchup, horseradish, and old bay mixed together.

thanks spongie

Corn Pudding

Corn Pudding

Marge's Corn Pudding

1 can whole kernel corn (drained)
1 can creamed corn
2 Tbsp flour
1 tsp sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
< 1/4 cup milk
butter
paprika

Mix together corn, flour, sugar, egg vanilla and a splash of milk in a large bowl. Pour into greased (you can use butter flavored Pam) baking dish. Dot the top with butter and sprinkle with paprika.

Bake at 350 F approximately 45 minutes or until it separates from the sides.

Notes: Size of baking dish doesn't really matter, just adjust your cooking time to allow for it to cook through. It's easy to make variations on this by adding more or using less sugar and vanilla and you really can't screw it up unless you burn it.

My girlfriend makes a delicious green bean casserole.

I don't know the particulars, but in a pot she combines 3-4 cans of cut green beans along with butter, minced garlic, seasoned salt, Montreal Steak seasoning and a vidalia onion. She simmers it all together for a few hours and it's very tasty.

Wife makes that all the time and we are having it this year.

Might try VaNurse's corn pudding!
