-The brewers come in to today's game with the best record in baseball at 89-67 a positive outcome of +$2305! Today they start (imo) the best pitcher in the league in RHP Freddy Peralta and look to avoid the 3-game sweep against the Rangers. Here are some of Peralta's numbers: He is 16-5 overall with an ERA of 2.50 and an opponents BA of just .192! On the road, he is 8-1 with an ERA of 1.72 and he is 6-2 with an ERA of 2.62 during day games! But, here is what really stands out: his current form. In his last 5 starts, he is 3-0 giving up 0 (ZERO) runs and only 9 hits in 29 innings pitched while striking out 35 batters and an opponents batting average of .098! His only downfall is that he rarely pitches more than 100 pitches, but he has a good solid bullpen to back him up with a WHIP of only 1.21! In addition, Peralta is 2-0 vs Texas in his career with an ERA of 2.53 and 17 k's in 10 2/3 innings. Meanwhile, the Rangers start RHP Merrill Kelly, who is no slouch himself, but is only 5-4 at home this year and, and quite frankly isn't in the same league as Peralta. I don't usually lay this big of a number on the road, but good teams (like Milwaukee) rarely get swept and I look for the Brewers to get the win today. Play Milwaukee...........
