Milwaukee -131
-The brewers come in to today's game with the best record in baseball at 89-67 a positive outcome of +$2305! Today they start (imo) the best pitcher in the league in RHP Freddy Peralta and look to avoid the 3-game sweep against the Rangers. Here are some of Peralta's numbers: He is 16-5 overall with an ERA of 2.50 and an opponents BA of just .192! On the road, he is 8-1 with an ERA of 1.72 and he is 6-2 with an ERA of 2.62 during day games! But, here is what really stands out: his current form. In his last 5 starts, he is 3-0 giving up 0 (ZERO) runs and only 9 hits in 29 innings pitched while striking out 35 batters and an opponents batting average of .098! His only downfall is that he rarely pitches more than 100 pitches, but he has a good solid bullpen to back him up with a WHIP of only 1.21! In addition, Peralta is 2-0 vs Texas in his career with an ERA of 2.53 and 17 k's in 10 2/3 innings. Meanwhile, the Rangers start RHP Merrill Kelly, who is no slouch himself, but is only 5-4 at home this year and, and quite frankly isn't in the same league as Peralta. I don't usually lay this big of a number on the road, but good teams (like Milwaukee) rarely get swept and I look for the Brewers to get the win today. Play Milwaukee...........

Boston/Oakland Under 10'
-First of all, this is a really big number for a stadium that is known for low-scoring games and the A's simply arent hitting, getting shutout in 2-straight games. Boston starts LHP Payton Tolle who is making his 3rd start of the season and in his only start IN Boston he pitched well, giving up 2 ER' in 5 1/3 innings with 8 K's in an eventual 4-2 loss! Starting for the A's is RHP Mason Barnett who is also making his 3rd career start. In his last start, he was victimized by the "big" inning, giving up 4 runs in the first inning and then settled down after that to throw 5 innings of shutout ball, striking out 8 batters in the eventual win. This number is so high because of the starters high ERA's without digging deeper into the specifics. Play Boston/Oakland Under the total of 10'..........

Minnesota/LA Angels Over 8' (2x)
-I'm making this play about 75% on the 2 starting pitchers seasonal and current performance. Pitching for Minnesota is one of my favorite go-against pitcher in Taj Bradley. Bradley is 6-7 on the season with an ERA of 4.92 overall on the season, but his splits are key! Bradley has an ERA of 5.29 on the road this season and a 5.36 ERA during the day. In addition, his current form is awful going just 1-4 with a ERA of 6.35 his last 5 starts! In his last start, he gave up 4 ER's on 8 hits in just 5 IP in a 11-8 loss to the White Sox! 4 of his last 5 starts have gone over the total with the only exception being a start where he gave up 8 runs and got no run support! Meanwhile, The LA Angels have gone over 4 of their last 5 games and today start RHP Jose Soriano who is a ghastly 2-8 at home with an ERA of 5.90! In Soriano's 17 home starts this season, 15 have gone over the total!

Pittsburgh RL +122
-Tonight the Pirates visit the Orioles and start RHP Paul Skenes. Where do I start with Skenes? Overall on the season, he has a 1.98 ERA and a 2.10 ERA at night! He has won 4 consecutive starts, giving up just 3 ER's on 17 hits in 25 Innings pitched for an ERA of 1.08. And for those of you who like this RL stat, in Skenes' last 7 wins he has won them all by 2 runs or more. Meanwhile, the Orioles start RHP Tyler Wells who is making only his 2nd start in 2025 (and first at home) In his last 5 starts dating back to last year, he is 1-4 with a rather high ERA of 5.87. And if Wells falters early, Baltimore has the 5th worst bullpen in baseball with a 4.77 ERA! Skenes is very much in the running for the NL Cy Young award and I except another stellar performance out of him tonight. Play Pittsburgh on the run line.............

Pitching change, Junior
goddamit...........not again!! Well, after doing a little research on Urena, the play stands. may be a bullpen day for LA. Urena has an ERA of 7.97 during the day and has only made 5 starts this year, so doesnt really look like that much of a step up. Bradley may get it there himself. Thanks Keyser :smilies8

Philadelphia/NY Yankees +151
The Phillies tonight host the NY Mets. The Phillies come into this contest at 47-23 and lead the Mets by 9 games in the NL East. They are 9-3 their last 12 games and have taken 2-straight vs the Mets. Tonight, they start LHP Cristopher Sanchez who is 12-5 with an ERA of 2.60 on the season and a perfect 5-0 at home with a 2.28 ERA. In his last 2 starts, he is 2-0 giving up 2 ER's in 14 IP for an ERA of 1.29! The NY Mets are fading fast, losing 4-straight and 3 of 10. They are just 31-42 on the road this year and have scored just 8 runs in their last 4 games. In the other game, The Yankees are looking for revenge for last night's loss to Detroit! Tonight they start LHP Carlos Rodon who is 16-7 with a 3.12 ERA on the season. In addition, he is 9-3 at home with an ERA of 2.86 and is 11-4 at night with an ERA of 2.47! Rodon is 6-0 his last 6 starts with and ERA of just 2.05 allowing just 1 HR! Starting for Detroit is RHP Jack Flaherty who is just 7-13 on the year with an ERA of 4.85 an just 2-6 on the road with an ERA of 5.64! In his last 5 starts, he is 1-2 with a 6.15 ERA! Ply Philadelphia/NY Yankees in a parlay.........
