If they can pretend this sports scam resulting in peanuts is a big deal, why aren't they doing something about the billions being syphoned off in crypto and stocks?

Because the top 1% is in complete control, they have fought BTC since its inception. When they realized they couldn’t stop it, THEY took over and now control it via Blackcock and many other billionaires.

This is accurate, definitely controlling , their wealth is bigger them most countries. Blackrock has fund that allows you to invest into private equity stocks not available in public market at this time
