you loaded up?

good luck, bro :D

Not really. It won't be anyone important that I'll be able to say that to. Maybe even have to do it while driving by in the car, so they don't hear me.

I'm still pretty loaded on DXO at the moment.

effin CAT kicked me in the balls the last 2 days so stuck with that one for awhile. DRYS not helping much either :mj07:

ACTC made up for my CAT problem and SRZ has made up for my DRYS problem and CMI is holding it's own.

moved my GGP into SRZ last week so doing okay on that one.

too bad i'm leaving thursday before the open because i might miss something exciting on the ACTC. might get some more tomorrow depending on how it's running.

ACTC'S TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM 18-Jan-09 10:15 am Here is information on the technology ACTC has license and use. People pay attention, ok. ACTC have some of the most valuable stem cell technology:

1) We license technology to Start a JV with Geron. They in turn use
our technology as well as license to GTC Biotheraputics.

This was in the news today:
FDA Mulls OK for Blood Thinner From Genetically Engineered Goats

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is moving closer to approvalfor
an anti-clotting drug made from the milk of genetically
engineeredgoats, the Associated Press reported Wednesday.

2) We license technology to Embryome Science a divison of Btim. Read
this article on page 6 it basically says the IPS technology they use
from Actc may be the best of all IPS technology in that it doesn't
carry viral vector or added genes. Making it the preferred IPS
technology.

http://www.stemcellresearchnews.com/PDF_...

3) Did you know that the original patents covering animal cloning
known as the Roslin patents(ie Dolly the sheep) are owned by Actc.
Geron has the patent rights to animal cloning but Actc has the human
patent rights.

http://www.advancedcell.com/press-releas...

4) Parthenogenesis. This technology owned by Actc is licensed to Isco.

International Stem Cell Corporation (ISCO.OB)is a California company
that has developed breakthrough human stem celllines that promise to
eliminate the rejection of transplanted cells bythe patient?s immune
system. ISCO?s technology, Parthenogenesis, results in the creation of
pluripotent human stem cell lines fromunfertilized human eggs without
the transfer of foreign DNA. This methodology offers the potential to
create the first true ?Stem CellBank? and also addresses critical
ethical issues by eliminating theneed to use fertilized embryos. ISCO
also produces and sellsspecialized cells and growth media worldwide
for therapeutic research.

4) Hemangioblasts. The technology to create endless supply of blood.
This is what we have a new JV on

http://www.advancedcell.com/press-releas...

5) RPE Advanced Cell Technology is currently focused on using its
proprietary technologies to generate stable cell lines including
retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells for the treatment of diseases
of the eye, including macular degeneration, which represents a $28
billion dollar market. Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) affects
more than 30 million people worldwide and is the leading cause of
blindness in people over 60 years of age in the United States.

6) HG ACT?s HG program is in preclinical development investigating the
possibility of using the cells to treat cardiovascular disease,
stroke, and cancer.

7)Myoblast The myoblast stem cell therapy involves transplantation of
expanded autologous myoblasts (adult progenitor stem cells) derived
from a small biopsy of skeletal muscle from a patient?s leg.

Overall strength of Actc's technology

http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Advanced+C...

We have most of the stem cell market covered. We have the ability to
produce 140 cell types and we have many different product lines. We
have 400 patents/applications.

This was below $3.00 because of the lack of funding and stem cell ban.
Now that these 2 issues are behind us its clear sailing.

Read up on the technology. We were there before anyone else and thanks
to West and Lanza received the patents. We will be the most valuable
player in the sector.

Why do you think they never sold or allowed a buyout. Why did they
almost go bankrupt but hung on.

Read up on Lanza and the company we own the science!!!!
d through out the market place. I know alot people do not know this information. If people sell off, they will regret it.

But even as the industry anxiously awaits results from the first trial, Michael West, founder of Geron and current CEO of Emeryville, Calif.-based firms BioTime and Embryome Sciences Inc., said the Phase I outcome of GRNOPC1 won't make or break the field. "I don't think that much is" riding on Geron's trial, he told BioWorld Today, especially since it's likely that at least one additional embryonic stem cell therapy will be in the clinic by the time the most advanced product reaches Phase II or Phase III.

And spinal cord injury represents a fairly small market, West added. Other programs, such as ACT's AMD therapy, target much larger patient populations, and "they will probably end up drawing most of the attention."

Oh well...

Oh well...

I missed the original fun, but got in as market opened for 11k shares at .275 per.

It is now trading at bid of .255 and ask of .26 so a little down this morning. But I think this one I will hold, and hope it ticks over $2.50 - $3.00 or more, but will make that decision at a later date. Infancy for me on this one, but will not dump quickly.

Thanks for turning me on to this DBD!

that's a $1190 gamble that i'm going to let ride to minimum $1 or lose it all no matter how long it takes.

http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/marketwire/0468941.htm

i bought some this morning at .0093. even less shares than you did. just a flyer, but apparently we saw the same yahoo toting it on the actc boards. when u hit a couple penny stocks you feel like you don't want to be left in the cold for the next gravy train.

actc is weathering the stem cell sector sell off which was inevitable. certainly didn't know it was coming this morning, but there was too much profit the last week for people not to get some profit out. its lost less than geron or stem or some others so that's a good sign. if the company was a complete joke it probably would have crashed and burned this morning.

First day took a bath...

-$889.99 on ACTC

But no worries, it will be a longer term hold, that is why it is a loss on paper, until it is sold. Come on baby! LOL!!

looks like this could be a big day, at least for a few of my holdings, DRYS, CMI, CAT. i bought 500 more shares of DRYS in AH last night for $11.82.

watch this ACTC screw it all up on my bottom line because i suspect this one takes another hit downwards.

thinking about adding UYG this morning for a quick hit, hopefully.
