100 bet will be worth 50,100 if Auburn wins, the guy is not hedging either

not hedging was a good move at -400 and laying 10-11 wasn't an option

but he did have an option......and his dream scenario happened.......sit on the ticket until halftime and hope auburn is ahead and find a -110 price/middle

21-10....2nd half line fsu -8.5

he has aub by 1 or 2 as a middle (and up 11 that was a real chance with a possible 2 pointer in the works for fsu)

aub by 3+ and a 500-1 winner minus his hedge amount

fsu wins and he hits his hedge minus his 100 ticket

if he were smart, he'd have had 15-20 k ready and unloaded it at halftime on fsu (which he would have won less his 100 aub ticket)

Amazing the best solutions we can come up with after the game plays out. Woulda, coulda, shoulda. :0003

On the course!
I grabbed FSU +245 live @5dimes before halftime, he most definitely had options. No brainer to hedge somehow if you ask me.

Everyone keeps saying this, but what if he's not a gambler? What if he is a gambler, but he's an ordinary Joe with minimal extra cash? What can he do? Maybe get $10,000? What will that do? He has to hop a flight to Vegas to plop the 10 grand down to win 2 or 3 grand.....big whoop. He's out a hundy on a chance to win $50Gs. I'm sure he's not banging his head over this.

This guy's Twitter account shows he WAS in Vegas last night, and he made a $2,000 live wager on Florida State at a Pick Em, so he did pocket some cash.
