14 years

madjacksports.com was born May 1998.

That's a pretty old domain name.

There's been a lot of turnover but this place has stayed about the same. People come and go.

I've made a lot of friends here. Enemies too.

I've changed a lot since we started. A lot of you have. Some guys that post here now weren't even 10 years old when this place started.

Kids, grand kids, weddings, divorces, we lost friends, we had parties, we laughed, we fought.

The Superbowl Parties, the golf outings, Vegas, Costa Rica, Panama, over 100 friends on my cell phone contacts. I didn't even have a cell phone back then.

A Ravens Superbowl. And 3 people who were at that party aren't even with us anymore. My dad, BahamaMama, and my best friend Matt (kosar).

A Terps National Championship.

And, now we have Joe Flacco :mj07:

Well said Jack. I was just 14 when you started this place, I began lurking around the boards in '02 when I first started gambling in college and finally started posting 7 years later. You run a great site here and I hope to stick around for many years to come so that I can be considered a senior member some day.
