congrats :0074

i tuned down my own alcohol use 3-4 years ago and i must say most
of the social use was unnecessary hard. things i changed: no drinkin alone,
don't get shit faced what ever is the occasion and most important: keep plenty
of beer & alcohol available at home
... :142smilie

currently i barely drink alcohol at all, a few beers or glass of wine with food,
but that's about it. i just don't see i need to drink, when meeting friends
i usually drink low- or no-alcohol beer.

small but crucial steps...

Congrats, OS! I am happy for you. Next April 17, I will have my 30th sobriety birthday. What seemed like an insurmountable mountain at the time has become the journey of which I am most proud. I, like you, am most willing to share my journey from being a drunken bum to a sober husband, father, friend and employee for the sole purpose of giving hope to those who, like me at one time, think there is no hope.

Keep it up, OS, one day at a time!
