NEW JERSEY (-125)
I watched the game the Sens played against the Rangers on Monday and I wasn't too impressed by their play. If it wasn't for the two fluky goals they scored they wouldn't of won this game. They did not dominate. Perhaps they kept their energy for their game aginst the Devils tonight... On the other side, I don't feel the Rangers played well enough to win either. Their effort was apparent in the 3rd period were they did press the Sens defense in the corners but couldn't get any openings in the slot. In all, if they would of played better they would of came out with the win. The Sens are also missing Leschysyn and Chara on defense and Shastlivy and Hull in front.
The Devils played last night and if it wasn't for Brodeur they would of lost this game in OT. But they played a much stronger opponent in the Flyers who have begun to score a little more goals lately (4 in their last 2 games... wow)! I really feel it will be tight which is the reason why I'm taking the ML instead of the -.5 line.
