Interesting stuff. Now if we could compare with the records of full games maybe we can find even more interesting chit out. Fast start teams that blow it, teams that have a great comeback record, fast start teams that hold the lead, the possibilities are endless.

Thanks for posting. :0008

Locke 9-1 first five over this year

Following up on this, Locke's ERA is 3.60 over 30 innings pitched in the 1st 5 this year AT HOME.
He is allowing an average of 2 runs per 1st 5 innings in starts AT HOME.

Bill, where do I go to update these 1H won/loss records? This shit is gold.
Since Saturday playing teams with good 1H record vs teams with bad 1H record is 14-1-1.

Last night 4-0 on
Tigers
Cards
Royals
Pirates

I found info from just putting in "First 5 MLB stats for 2015" and googled it!!

Several places across the street post these from time to time.

Glad they are doing well.

I don't play first 5's much because of my stubborn, ol' fashioned ass!!

GL!

Hey MJ, these are the updated records for the 1st 5 innings with winning percentage (ties omitted). The number on the right is how the overall record of the team differs from the 1st 5 inning record ( for example, stl +6, Stl actual record is 43-21 while Stl 1st 5 record is 34-18 a difference of 9-3 or + 6). It's a good way to rate bullpens for 2nd half bets.

Stl. 34-18. 65 % +6
Det. 33-21. 61 -9
Tex. 35-24. 59 -6
Tor. 33-26. 56. -5
TB. 31-23. 57. -2
NYY. 31-25. 55. -2
Min. 28-28. 50. +4
Pitt. 31-22. 58 +1
CHC. 27-20. 57. -1
KC. 30-22. 58 +3
NYM. 31-24. 56 -1
Wash 30-24. 56 -3
AZ. 33-24. 58 -10
SF. 30-29. 51 +3
LAD. 29-25. 54. +5
Atl. 28-20. 58 -11
Mia. 27-24. 53. -11
Cle. 26-26. 50 -3
Col. 25-31. 45 -2
Cin. 21-26. 45 -1
