Mr B Your up early this morning--getting ready to head to Nashville on appointment--hate work outside office :(

Might make this a thread into ads for each party.
Would be fun.

My fav ad last year was the one about the wolves.

Heres my ad so far--

Use Hilliary's
Phone ring at nighy followed by O quotes on OOPS

2002 "I was not aware that I had voted no,"

March 19, 1997"I was trying to vote yes on this, and I was recorded as a no," he said

He stood on March 11, 1999, to take back his vote against legislation to end good-behavior credits for certain felons in county jails. "I pressed the wrong button on that," he said.

Obama was the lone dissenter on Feb. 24, 2000, against 57 yeas for a ban on human cloning. "I pressed the wrong button by accident," he said.

"I'd like to be recorded as a no vote," explaining that he had mistakenly voted for it

Then followed by 130 "present" votes.

:)

GOP might want to spin off this ad by Hilliary and use MSNBC video as reference :scared

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ne_sVIpv6io

they only would have woke you up 30 minute early! :mj07: Wayne's a very early riser!

add: I watched the video. Pretty sad, O!! He should have been Olbermann's worst person in the world for this news, but alas, I'm sure Keith couldn't find time to fit this tidbit into the show.

don't shoot the messenger:

don't shoot the messenger:

Olbermann is a drama queen and a lefty first but McCain is dangerous & confused. I think what he and most of his supporters consider a strength, is his biggest weakness. America can no longer rely on conventional warfare to be the leader of the free world or the America that provides opportunity to all hard working Americans. Yes we have to be strong but the big battles will be won economically & diplomatically. We can't not waste our Countries life after conception and wealth too benefit a few.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DL_H5qafeAQ For the America that Our Fathers built to not only survive but thrive; the worst of us need hope in the American dream. If you don't understand that concept, you don't understand our history or how we have traveled to this point. If you laugh at the audacity of hope, you laugh at America and what She has been to so many here at home & around the world. If you laugh at being a citizen of the world you are cutting the life line of your children and your future generations. This is a huge election ! This election is not about who you are for, it's about sustanining a great civilization ! The right is quick to point at people that think like me and say I don't love America, there is nothing wrong with our Country, your a liberal or a socialist. I'm a patriot, I consider my self a citizen of the world & I'm proud as hell to be American. My father was Air Force I was born in London. No matter who Our next President , I'll be fine, most of will be. I'm not some silver spooned kid, I just think that we can build America with people not on the backs of people. I have worked very hard all of my life, maybe not the hours some have. I have a very small business that has evolved our 15 yrs. I have always had people work with me not for me and do as much for them and my clients that I can. When you build long tearm relationships that are economically thoughtful to all parties you get so much back down the road. I have never done anything out of social concerns but because of self preservation. No matter how powerfull America is or some of our biggest corporations are. We can not sustain our way of life on this path. Do we want to have to look over our backs at every street coner , here at home and every where we travel around the world ? If I were running for president I would be talking about economic solutions. If not everyman, most have a price. Greed is a great motivator, it can be used to build or destroy. Where are the thinkers ? Where are the leaders ? John McCain is neither... It's all about winning.. The big questions are : What do we win ? At what cost ? What is our net profit ? What's in it for the little guy ? Remember the little guy / He's the guy that built this Country, He's the guy that makes this Country go, day to day. He's the guy that may slit your wife's or daughters throats one day. Self preservation ! I remember when, I would watch tv and see how people lived with violence and guns in their streets, I would think , glad I live in America, that can't happen here ! What are we trying to Win ? Are we only trying to win a battle in a war, that can only be sustained by more battles and more wars ?

His rebuttle was--
Obama is decisive-quick thinking--conclusive-and postive of his convictions. :)

and if that isn't good enough he has those he will rely on to help
when asked-- "Who are the three wisest people you know in your life and who are you going to rely on heavily in your administration?" --at latest forum--

--he said his wife-his grandmother and Ted Kennedy

--and if thats still not good enough how about his lifetime self proclaimed spiritual mentor--the Rev

did he say ted kennedy as one of the 3 ???? ... read the transcript..... next point, my experience : just because you rely on someone you think is wise, doesn't mean you agree with them or go with them.... . ( sounding boards ) ... intellectual process , foreign to most ..... http://www.thirty-thousand.org/pages/Saddleback_16AUG2008.htm#wise

the question(S) were : who are the three wisest people you know in your life ???????? And who are you going to rely on heavily in your administration ???? The wise people are his mother & wife... Who he would rely on in his administraion would not be 3 but many ... sam nunn, dick lugar, friends raging from ted to tom colbert ........ sounding bites are great, aren't they ? I 'm not the smartest guy but even I could figure this one out. Perception is what counts and you think like most. I guess that's why we are where we are and we are what we are !

lol- first time you ever made me laugh. You're always so serious, but that was kinda funny.

Gotcha on the board that I keep here.

thanks ...I wasn't trying to be funny and yes I am serious when I post here ... I come here to say what I can't every day.... I do laugh, there is sarcasm in my thoughts . I do have a sense of humor about life and politics, we all must, that is why I respond to DTB.... Most of what has been funny in American politics in recent years has also been profoundly sad. I find my self laughing at America not with her. I guess that makes me the conservative /patriot /realist that I am or my opposition might say : a socialist/bloody liberal /communist. You guys get the dark side of me here... I don't try to fix the world any place but here at mad jacks.... I do try to fix the little things I can control... I have a feeling most in this type of forum do . It's amazing that a gesture of anykind can turn someones day around. You turn a day around. You have a start. Then who knows ? thanks for the gesture !

I can figure out who he said were wisest people he knew--I also know whohe said his uncle/mentor was--i can also figure out he's
A: not smart enough to pick correct button with only 2 choices (Haskell syndrome" or
B: he is a liar.
I also know he said in his book you should vote yes or no and proceeded to vote present 130 times

--but most of all I know I asked you to put up his experience and qualifications that would lead you to vote for him--and in 6 months believe hope and change is all I've got. Maybe since its 6 months later you found something you'd like to add?

on the 130 present votes in the Ill senate not the U.S. senate... he voted over 4000 times yes or no in Ill...... I posted it here for you 2 or 3 times why some one would vote present in THE ILL SENATE..... You don't have the intellectal capacity to understand the nuance of a brilliant mind of a constitutional scholar........... I'm talking about one of the smartest guys ever to come out of harvard, not 43 & not mccain. If you need me to post his qualifications you are not qualified to judge ! The fact that he called the rev wright a mentor is not a problem for thinking, free willed individuals... There was a great friend and mentor that I met when I was about 30, he was much older and we did not agree on very much politically & in some other areas.... but he had value and values and he was a great man that added to my base and core as a person.... His life experience was much different than mine because of age and the times he grew up in. This stuff is probably boring you and to complicated for you but there are some that know what I'm talking about. ....Barack Hussein Obama's biggest asset : I believe simpily that he has the ability to communicate, reason and listen to others that don't agree with him. I believe in the posibilities of his thought proccess. That may change.... Washington has changed more than a few great minds.... At the end of the day we are still talking about, just another politican.... not very happy with the Biden pick but you have to get elected first..... The blue print must call for someone like Joe..... America will elect the President We deserve. If American Voters had listened to the opposition against Reagan & Clinton we would have missed something... I think we got it right with both those Presidents.... We'll see.....
