why the extra days off? none of the other series are set up like that. hellava an edge for ari when randy and curt can pitch 4 or the five if necessary, don't you think? you gotta think they win 3 of THEIR 4 games and that might not even be needed. and they're only -185? i hate laying the big price but i'm seriously thinking about it.

and what's with the stupid start time in game one??????

i was just thinkin the same thing...pretty strange that the only team that really needs an extra day off gets it and the other series dont...hmm

I'd imagine the screwy time on the StL/Ari game1 is just to cater to the west coast fans, since Oak gets the early start. God forbid they have 2 games going at the same time, the TV rating would get sliced in half.

I'd also be crying foul if I were a Cards fan. It's tough enough to go against Randy and Curt in 4 out of the possible 5 games, and there's a good chance game 4 will be do or die for StL. Now they have to go against Randy on 5 days rest. But the TV ratings sure would be higher in the NLCS if you have Atl vs Ari with Maddux, Glavine, Randy and Schilling.

Conspiracy theory?? I'll buy it.
