haha - Jerry Jones with the reach of the first round. He has officially morphed into the present-day Al Davis and the Cowboys won't be anything while he is still running the ship in Dallas.

gotta say again...geno smith not doing himself any favors with the attitude....

that could easily be read as a trait that led w va to collapse late in the season.....

buck up dude...you`re hurting yourself...

What attitude? Did he give a bad interview after the first round?

his head was down from around the 10th pick on..not sure i saw him look up once.....certainly looked to be pouting to me...his body language was terrible.....espn was trying to soft-peddle it,but they certainly noticed....

after the way west virginia`s season collapsed(many put part of the blame on smith `s inconsistency and it`s possible that he could be seen as a front runner)....

it`s o.k. to be disappointed, but, christ, hold your head up and act interested.....

i thought it sent a terrible message...

that`s what i saw...

This reminds me of Tom Jackson analyzing Jay Cutler's (who I don't like in the least) disposition entering the stadium last year for one game.

You actually think someone may have been close to pulling the trigger on him, but then wait, oh, he's over there pouting? Yeah, let's just select a defensive player from an SEC school instead. We'll worry about a QB in the 2nd round.

i just did a quick google and nobody else seemed to read anything into smith having his head down and acting disinterested during the entire first round.....

so maybe i`m wrong....i`m sure he was disappointed and expected to go in the first...

that`s the way it looked from here...but maybe i`m reading too much into it...

no,i was thinking along the lines that on the second day, that a team torn between smith and say, nassib or barkley, might not like the way he reacted in the green room....there is talk about him sulking on the sidelines when things weren`t going well in games...

i guess we`ll see...maybe he `ll be the first qb chosen in the second....

i wouldn`t be crestfallen if i were him...he`s a millionaire any way you slice it...

You think he's the first football player to be emotional or show disappointment on a sideline?

Where it is real F ing COLD
The Vikings picks could all be busts, but a fan has got to be excited, people say it was too much to get Patterson but if it's the guy they like, it cost them a 3, a 4, and a 7. They have another 4 and two 7s, so I'm happy.

giving an opiion...you don`t like that?...go watch an oprah rerun...you`ll feel better...

I have no problems with you giving an opinion. When the opinion is laughable I?m going to point that out, that?s all.

It appears you don?t like my opinion of your opinion. There is a word for that, but I can?t place it at the current moment. Anyway, maybe you should go watch one of those Oprah shows to help yourself feel better. That or simply try using Google next time for reaffirmation prior to posting a ridiculously flawed thought that pops into your head.

but enough about yourself.....:rimshot  (try and be a little more pithy,poon....those long winded diatribes are arduous)...

the guy has a rep among the scouting community of getting down on himself, not being mature and being inconsistent.....that`s not my opinion...that`s the opinion of more than a handful of scouts....

he was passed over by at least a handful of teams that are in serious need of a qb...and i don`t think that physical talent is the issue.....he has that in abundance....

http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2013/2/7/3963034/2013-nfl-draft-geno-smith-character-demeanor

http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2013/story/_/page/hotread-geno-smith/geno-smith-be

theres obviously some questions about smith when the going gets tough....

i hope he`s the first pick in the second round and turns into the next aaron rodgers.....

i just thought that his demeanor in the green room might have played into the skeptics` analysis...

i`ll give you the last word(you`re going to get it anyway...you remind me of my mother-in-law in that way)..... ,
