That is enough for me until the bowls. I will go back to just capping soccer where I actually win consistently.

Just hate myself for playing Texas. I do not like the team at all and I am no longer a believer in Herman. I really thought he would do well there, but he has really done nothing at all. If you can not show any improvement in 3 years, it is time to go. I expect alumni will be calling for his head after this game.

Matt Rhule on the other hand is one hell of a football coach. What he did there in a couple years has been truly remarkable. A great hire and I expect some very big program will be calling very soon.

I am so sickened by what has happen to Maryland football I stopped watching and just bet against them every week. Only reason I hung around this long. It is a true embarrassment to the University and its fans. How you can be worse than last year is just unfathomable to me.

LSU -6.5 -120

This was the best I could do once the book opened. Says it opened at 4 but that was not available at all. It may come down some but I will take it now under 7.

I am not a believer at all in Georgia's offense and certainly do not think they can keep pace with LSU's offense. Yes, GA plays great defense, but I do not think they can stop LSU throwing the ball. GA will have to blitz to get pressure and I think Burrow takes advantage of it. I simply think LSU is the better team.

Damn--minus 6.5 was -145 for me.

Yeah, the line got absolutely hammered. DE books do not open early so it already got hit when they opened. When I left it was at -7.5/-325!!

Georgia health may end up being the difference. Who knows how healthy Swift will be, Cager?
Pickens suspended. If line keeps moving north Bason you may get a nice middle w/ key 🔑 numbers

Oregon +7.5 -125

Been waiting for this line to move to 7 and it finally did this morning so I jumped on it with the buy to 7.5. Really do not see either team winning this game by more than a TD and I think Oregon has a great chance to win so I will gladly take the 7.5 here.

Easy winner with Oregon.

Now, there is a lot of pressure on Baylor and Oklahoma as the winner thinks they may get in. I will go with the dog in this one. I love the Baylor coach and what he has done with this team. I think he will have his team ready and give Oklahoma all they can handle.

Baylor +10 -130

Yes, I bought a full point and have no problem with it to get on a number I like.

I did the same. Baylor +10. Good luck. I could see this one going either way. Oklahoma w the huge comeback a few weeks ago but Baylor got the big lead to put it there. Hurts is amazing and hopefully we'll have a close game and whoever wins, we'll pocket some $$

I got home late last night and the game had just started. I wanted Oregon +7 but the in-game had them at 5 1/2 and I just couldn't pull the trigger so I played it "safe" and took Utah ML...boy did that backfire. Figured Utah would show up knowing a playoff berth was on the line...or probably on the line...never know w the committee...they might have won, LSU and Ohio St both lose and they still get in over the Utes. Oregon looked damn good and I really wish they'd expand to 8 teams and let the Power 5 get automatic bids w conference champs. Oregon should be in the playoff (w 8 teams, I mean)...and it would be one hell of a fun 8-team playoff. I used to think 12 was a good number....6 automatic and 6 at-large....give the top 4 teams a bye and then play home games for higher seeds until the title game. But now I think 8 is best...play at higher seed's home until title game, just like NFL does.

Anyway, let's do this thing. I haven't taken anything else yet. Today almost feels like New Year's Day Bowl Games from the 80's for me. Should be fun!

Not sure how Baylor stayed in that game, but they did. Oklahoma is not very good. Can't wait to bet against them in the playoff. I will be on that line as soon as possible no matter who they are playing.

LSU game going exactly as I thought. Georgia's offense is bad. LSU has an NFL QB and Georgia does not. I am taking LSU -3.5 at the half for about half my original LSU bet. I see nothing in the game that shows me that Georgia is capable of coming back. Just do not think Fromm is good enough.

Also adding

Clemson Ov56

I think UVA can put up 14 and that should be enough to send this one over.

Got the double on LSU, Georgia was as bad as I thought.

Really hoping the Ohio State game is close. I want LSU to be number 1, so they can play Oklahoma, so I can bet a lot of money on LSU no matter what the number. I will bet against them no matter what, but I think LSU would roll them worse than Ohio State.

Great weekend!

Here is what I am hoping for:

LSU
Ohio State
Clemson
Oklahoma

I believe LSU and Clemson are the two best teams so I think it would be very, very wrong for them to play in the semi-final. LSU should move to #1, but you can never count on the committee to do the right thing.

Well went exactly as I thought and wanted, but I was really hoping Clemson would be a dog. Not so lucky. Just locked this in for a large amount online and will be adding at the window in the morning.

Clemson -1.5 -110

They are the better team and will win this game. Big play for me.

I love LSU also, but I am seeing 12.5 right now, so going to see how it moves first before I play.

Really? I am not seeing it. Looks to me that it is 2 just about everywhere. Maybe some public money comes in on Ohio State but I think the big money will be on Clemson and I would not be surprised to see this go to 3 eventually.

I think LSU will sit at 13 and maybe go down a little over time.

Army +10.5

I will have more on this later in the week, but I think the opening line got pounded up too high, so I will take these points.

Army vs Navy

Army +10.5 already posted

This is a game I always look forward to and have been to countless times. Just the purest form of the sport with hard working athletes that will be our protectors and future leaders!

If you have read this thread at all this year, you know I am a big Navy fan and made plenty on them again this year as they were a covering machine. They had a great year with losses only to Notre Dame and Memphis and get a new year's eve bowl game against Kansas State (and I really like Navy in that game by the way and already played them -2). If you dig into the schedule though, they got all their best wins at home (Tulane, Force and SMU) and did not have to play UCF and Cincinnati.

Army has had a rough year after lofty expectations but they did have Michigan beat and let that one go. They only lost one game by more than 10 points and that was to Hawaii after a late 100 yard interception return. Army is not going to a bowl, so I think this game is even more meaningful to them. Motivation is never really a factor in this series but I do think the situation favors Army a little in this game.

I do think Navy in the better team, but I think this line is inflated. If you did into the statistics there is really not a lot separating these two teams. Navy did not blow out any of the better teams they beat and I just think Army will keep this game close. I will be there supporting Navy, but my money is on Army.

An FCS action parlay for tonight.

JMU Ov 45/Austin Peay+210/Weber +120 - +1200

Just for some fun. JMU should definitely win and I do not think N. Iowa will shut them down. Thought about N. Iowa + since this line has gotten steamrolled from 12-20, but I think we see points. Peay has been a great story as this team was pitiful a few years ago and now they have a road win in the playoffs. Will go with the good story here and look for a second road win. Everything points to a Montana win over Weber especially since they beat them by 19 a few weeks ago, so I will go the other way with the home dog.

Added a ML play today on:

La Tech +200

One of my favorite bowl games as I jumped on the initial line of +7.5 right away. Miami is an awful bowl team and just do not see them interested in this game at all while it is big home game for La Tech.

Also played

Ok State +7.5 -125

This line has been driven too high from the starting number and will take it over a TD. Do not see much A&M motivation in this game and think Ok State can hang around.

Friday

The MAC blows. They blow even more in bowl games and even more as favorites. They are 2-15 SU the last three years in bowl games and Buffalo is 0-3, so I will gladly take a handful of points against any team in the MAC, especially one in its first bowl game.

Charlotte +7 -125 and +200

This bowl has also averaged 66 ppg in the last 5, but staying away from the total since both teams like to run. Buffalo will be likely be a popular pick because of the ranking of their run defense, but it is not enough to get me away from the anti-Mac bet.

Need to figure out exactly who is suspended but it will be Utah State or nothing.

Playing against the MAC and Pac 10 has been money for the last few years and I will ride it until it ends. Pac 10 may do better this year, but I do not see the MAC doing well at all.

In Bowls, I always play the ML if I like the dog. Been a rule to live by for a long time.
