can you eat veggie dip so you can dip your veggies in it?
You might want to try hummus. I don't have a real recipe, but here's what I use:
1/4 of an onion (or more if you like onions) Chop up in food processor.
1 can of Garbanzo beans, mostly drained. I open the can, hold three fingers over the top, turn it upside down over the sink quickly, then pour what's left into the food processor. I use Bush's beans. I tried the store brand and they weren't as good.
2 Tablespoons of Tahini (Can skip if you want - tahini is like peanut butter, only made with sesame seeds. If you've never tried it, you may not like it.) You can throw some cashews in instead, if you want.
Juice from 1/2 a lemon (can skip if you want)
Some oregano, garlic, basil and salt to taste. I add about a 2 teaspoons each of oregano, garlic and basil. I don't usually add salt, but sprinkle some on top when it is done.
Turn on food processor on medium and let it go to town.
Add however much olive oil it takes to make it mushy. I would guess 1/8 to 1/4 cup, but I've never measured. I let the food processor grind for at least a minute or two.
Throw a couple of olives on top if you like. It makes a good veggie dip or you can just eat it by the spoonful.

I dont plan on keeping this up forever if thats what you mean. But i will be sure to take better care of myself by eating better and getting more excercise.. also i am going to pay more attention to labels.
the other day i looked at the ingredients in my so called "health bar". jesus i was shocked at all the extra chemicals.
My dad tried to get a healthy snack at the golf course by getting a pack of wheat crackers and peanut butter... I flipped over the label for him. Corn syrup, fructose, artificial sugar, and a rainbow of shit i couldnt pronounce.. Why is all that shit in our food!!!!
Im going to try and eat more whole foods...
Still gonna have a few drinks on the weekends maybe but not 4 and 5 days a week anymore..
I just wanted to jump start my new lifestyle and this is the best way to do it.
The pounds are just melting off
Can you eat artichoke hearts? Drain a jar of those, put the hearts into a food processor with a little olive oil and some thyme or basil and let it go to town. That makes a good drizzle or dip for veggies.

You can also do the same thing with an avacado.
