i'm in for july, august, september. somebody make some plans. maybe down kentucky this year? eddie's fave place ;)

maybe DTB has a course that does banquet outings? or over eddie's way? or we can try here again or up closer to indy?

we need a most central location for as many as possible.

Belterra does have a nice course. Grand Victoria, not as good, but playable. And of course, there are the casino's that need to be fed by you guys. Thats cool. After golf, Kosar and I'll entertain your respective girlfriends and wives while you guys are complaining about those bad beats at the tables.

From the photographs of past gatherings, it is my recollection that Mr. Kosar is quite the chick magnet. If you don't bring the ladies, he and I can have our own 12 step meeting.

"Hi my name is Eddie and I'm a compulsive _____________ (drinker/gambler). My last _________________ (drink/bet) was ________ (choose one) minutes/days/months/years ago."

As far as central locations go, I assume most of the degenerates that will be attending the golf will require some form of casino gambling in the area or they may have some type of emotional reaction or delerium tremors.

Unlike Columbus, Indiana, Cincinnati has an airport. In addition, the Queen City has casinos (20 minutes from downtown) excellent golf courses, horse racing w/race book (River Downs), the Reds for a potential outing, nice bars, very attractive women, and, most importantly, me.

Therefore, I offer up for your consideration, Cincinnati, Ohio as a central location for the next MadJacks golf outing. Cincinnati recently passed Cleveland as the largest metropolitan area in the State of Ohio. If chosen, Saint and Handicapper will make all the tee times, arrangements for accomadations and act as guides throughout your stay. I may make an appearance.

"the bunker"
I'd like to play this year. If its going to happen, lets get the date on the table relatively early so as to avoid vacation scheduling.

Eddie

now i`m tempted(and i don`t even play golf)....

me and the counselor...on the links...shooting the breeze...grilling tofu(by grilling,i mean "on the grill"...not in the tough, police drama manner)....drinking 3 gallons of bourbon(not while on the road,of course)......discussing all manner of topic(voodoo easter in haiti, what rev wright realy meant by "riding dirty",is there such a thing as a good folk song?).......

very tempting....

GW.........I could go as well and we could talk about how great GSP is....and then everybody can look at us funny and wonder what we are talking about:mj07:

and Jack...there are courses up here in Canada ya know...........oh wait guess it is not Centrally located now is it :SIB

Plus with all the madjackers having criminal records it would be tough for them to get over the border :mj07: :mj07:

But seriously....be fun to go......

We could also go to Crossville, Tennessee (Fairfield Glades) fer sum mountain golf. nice courses, cheap, half way between Knoxville and Nashville. Good golf, cheap accomodations and good pulled pork at Leftys but thats about it.

No casinoo's around but plenty of Baptists churches for Buddy. Remember a strip bar. But I think I was tipping the girls to put their cloths back on. None of them reminded me of Ashley DuPre.

If Weasels in, I may go but I want my condo as far away from his as possible. In addition, his bunk mate should be a muslim. I would considier sharing a condo with AR however he must bring the appropriate condiments. (not superglide)

Jack:

How many attended last year and where did most come from? I'm guessing midwest. Belterra has a nice hotel and is about 1 hour outside of Cincinnati. It is also 10 minutes away from the Kentucky Speedway (not that you would ever catch me at such a place) and about 15 minutes from a strip club called Racers (never been there but I've heard the talent is quite good).

If we set this up on a weekend when the Reds are in town, I could see about tickets (depending on th # interested) for a night game at Okay American Ballpark. Northern Kentucky has some very nice public courses.

Frrom the chamber,
Eddie

Has anyone mentioned Elgin, IL?

GW, Kosar and I don't play golf, either, and we had a fine time. The trick is to get DTB on your team and just realize the Jack's going to stack the deck to his team, anyway.

Bowling Green Ky
Been in Tunica on golf trip and just got back.
If all would like to play Bowling Green I can make arrangements at very scenic and playable course at modest rates (prob less than $25/man). Two very nice hotels right next to course.
Only down side (and a huge one) is there is no way to duplicate the ribeyes and atmosphere we had at Jacks house following event.
Where ever we play I'd like to make request to keep our same team last year (BBC-Matt-6-5 and myself) we might not have won -but couldn't have had a better time.

20 players and 8-10 spectators. most came from the north of me but were only about an hour away except for a few that had LONG rides. going south from me about an hour should make it easier for more players to join us like the nashville crew.

bowling green could work as well as cincy or caesars and/or belterra but those places are high $$$.
