OK Team 8.....as promised, I played yesterday afternoon and it was my final tune-up before heading up for the weekend. I shot a 75 (par 71) on a course I had never seen before, so I was really happy with that. I putted really well....and its a good thing because I couldn't hit a fairway off the tee to save my ass. My front nine was a ho-hum +3. I bogeyed 3 of the first 4 holes and then 5 straight pars. The back nine was totally a different story: Bogey-Birdie-DoubleBogey-Birdie-Bogey-Par-Birdie-Par-Par (nice and consistant +1 on the back). :scared

Hey Kosar...I checked a couple places but they only had righty putters rather than blade. I know of a couple other goodwills I have dropped stuff at that I will check in while at the hospitals in the area today. Anybody else help the guy out? :0corn

Hey guys.....as far as the poker tournaments that will happen while we are there....what are the start times and entry fees? and are they all no-limit? I've mentioned before that I've never played in a tournament in a casino....but I plan on playing in at least one this weekend. I think it'd be a good time!!
dang, took out the Friday night bounty tournament! :shrug: Plans are now that I'm playing in the Friday 1900 and the deepstack Sunday.

talk incessantly about Mike the mouth, the Great Dane, Patrik, Poker Brat etc. and make sure to use their nicknames.
Seriously, if you sit down, and your table is filled with old guys that are stones/rocks, go to a different table. Playing 1/2nl (I'm sure that's what will be available) sucks long and hard when everybody around is playing top 5 poker hand cards and nothing else. What a snoozefest. You want to sit down to some young jackasses that are straddling every pot, raising out of position, etc. and slow play their chips into your stack. The players will suck, guaranteed; you just need to avoid bad breaks and the few good people that are there (handicapper will know all the locals and give us a heads up). I'll play a lot for sure, so we'll have a blast! Looking forward to it.
so what are the ladies going to be doing, are they allowed on the course or do they have to find their own entertainment

By the way, my contribution to the final foursome will be to complain about each of your shots and to whine about how miserable I am in the hot, humid, southern Indiana sun.

We need a volunteer photographer!! I'm sure we can chip in and get them a cart to travel around in.
