Been in Tunica on golf trip and just got back.
If all would like to play Bowling Green I can make arrangements at very scenic and playable course at modest rates (prob less than $25/man). Two very nice hotels right next to course.

Where ever we play I'd like to make request to keep our same team last year (BBC-Matt-6-5 and myself) we might not have won -but couldn't have had a better time.

I agree, Wayne! Had a great time playing and if all four of us can make it again, then I have the same request about keeping the same team.

Just a couple questions, though.

What is the yardage from the tips, the rating and the slope for this course that you speak of? Just wanna kinda get a feel for the track and it might influence whether I bring my sticks or rent them at the club.

Has anyone mentioned Elgin, IL?

GW, Kosar and I don't play golf, either, and we had a fine time. The trick is to get DTB on your team and just realize the Jack's going to stack the deck to his team, anyway.

GW ain't leaving his bunker, Bobby. Count on THAT!

Very scenic course and well manicured--lots of water/sand-ducks--minimal rough modest -won't lose balls unless in water. If course ends up a consideration I will post score card. Jack has already played it with Clint-Dawgball and myself--so they might have some input also.

As for sticks--I have several extra sets--but believe you were left handed--however can get you a set to play with from Otte golf at no cost.

Was considering the chow afterwards--and believe we could have meal catered on site of course--however would be far short of feast at Jacks and doubt we could remain after dark-but might could probably get hospitality suite at hotel next door--would be convenient for those wanting/having :mj06: to stay over night.

If you guys want a central located course I know a guy that owns a golf course in Boone, Iowa. we could get a tournement or a whole day or two on the course if you want. There is a casino about an hour away from it to.

Jack:

The Reds are in the National League central. Do not count them out. Everyone, including Pittsburgh, could win that division.

If the preseason pick to win the division are the Cubs, you know its wide open.

With regard to holding this event in Bowling Green, I personally have some serious reservations about travelling to western Kentucky. You know what I mean?
