3 officers dead after shooting near BRPD HQ

BATON ROUGE - Police have closed streets between Baton Rouge Police Headquarters and I-12 where law enforcement officers have been shot.

Sources say two Baton Rouge Police officers and one East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office deputy are dead following the shooting. Another officer was critically injured.

A witness told WBRZ News 2, a man was dressed in black with his face covered shooting indiscriminately when he walked out between a convenience store and car wash across from Hammond Air Plaza. Shots were fired around 9 a.m. Sunday. The exact location of the business where the shooting took place has yet to be released.

A very large manhunt began immediately with officers hurrying to contain the scene.

Both lanes of Airline Highway were shut down from Goodwood to Old Hammond and from Old Hammond to Drusilla Drive. LA DOTD confirmed the closures were related to police presence in the area.

All I had to do was channel a little uneducated conservative into what I wrote and boom the hate, denial, racism, and ignorance just goes through you like a guy driving a truck through protestors that are trying to evoke change through social awareness, and blaming the protestors for my actions.

Penguinfan is the only one that made a single statement of anything even remotely related to the video. Will he be vilified for not asking for 7 congressional investigations into how Hillary tried to cover this up?

Sorry for the language and whatnot. I am aware that it is strong and may be offensive to some here, however I feel it was necessary and ask that you please don't move the thread due to my post alone. If it gets out of hand I'll delete it but I did have reason to do this. I love this place man, but when I see shit like a thread entitled white lives matter posted by a known racist who's entire design was to incite hate and devalue the lives of others it turns my stomach. When thread after thread of this "white people are the real victims of oppresion" (for lack if a better explanation),no matter how thinly veiled, dominating the first page of now two forums, it just flat pisses me off and I'm sorry. I am aware of the shitty position this puts you in and yes I did it anyway, and I understand and accept any consequences of my actions. I made a conscious decision that I'd rather be banned, bitched at or whatever, than be silent anymore about it.




The death of others, regardless of social and civil status, should never be trivialized or devalued because someone uses it as a weapon to broad stroke berate others.

Thank you for that man and I'm being serious. To be honest skull, as you know I have a mixed family and the growing unrest has escalated in the media so fast and so much lately that this is the first time I've ever felt that they may suffer the ugliness of prejudice in their lifetime and it worries the shit out of me. So whether or not it's intended or not I find myself increasingly sensitive to the rhetoric that I perceive to be divisive. BO finally figured it out and gave the appropriate response instead of trying and deciding a case in his press conference the same day.......so yes, the president does have influence and accountably; too bad he didnt have this type of response the past 2 years.......then again, that statement probably makes me a racist in your narrown minded view of the world.

Whataya Playing? Who said anything about factors? Im just a dumb hillbilly. Assumed if this group meant to help those in need, they'll help where the problem is the biggest, where many black lives are being lost. Unless, of course their only objective is to stir shit up. But that cant be, they have the support of the White house.
I would guess that members of BLM could better answer your question of the factors that are involved, but they probably dont really give a shit.
