let me set the scene

this dumb bitch goes flying by an undercover cop.. as youll see in video 1...... in video number 2 she thinks she is tuff sh*t.. starts calling the officer names and of course a racist... (shes going 51 in a 35 with a broken tail light .. yet he is a racist for pulling her over.... :jerkit:

in video three she makes a call on her phone while the cop is trying to talk to her.. he tells her to get off.. she says no.. he tries to grab the phone.. she swings..... so he grabs his taser............... then the fun ensues...

suddenly she isnt so tuff

ouch... major attitude adjusment. broken windshield, speeding, broken tail light, driving with a suspended license, not wearing a seat belt. but he's a racist. i wonder how this ended up in court.
wonder what the laws are re: use of taser.

...just can't agree here. That was a little over the top. 2 male police officers couldn't subdue this 1 little woman without using the taser on her twice!??!?!? WTF?!?!!? Personally, I thought that was a horrendus abuse of power.... It was a freaking traffic violation...not some armed robber, murderer or rapist.... Of course you all already know that I have a strong dislike of cops to begin with, so I guess my opinion is slightly biased. granted she should have obeyed the officer and gotten out of the car, but the use of a taser was a little over the top....

Bottom line: the officer got pissed off because of her attitude and was looking for a reason to abuse his power and did just that....

I think here panicked screaming got you going here. Like the cops said, they've been tazed before. The shock of it may have been more than the physical effects of the situation. He also said she swung at one of them at some time.

Abuse would have been a good beat down.

Then that would have been abuse of power.

If he touched her, he'd get suspended and possibly fired.
This is what tasers are for.
My question for some of you...why can't folks just do what they are told by officers?
There is a process, if you are innocent, just do what they say.
I just don't get this.

Exactly. He told her 3 separate times, get out of the car or I will taze you. She tried to call his bluff. He wasn't bluffing. That's what you get when you don't listen to an officer of the law.

I just don't understand your thinking here tao and doc. she was the one deciding if the taser would be used on her. you're told three times to get out of the vehicle or it would be used on you, your choice. I think she realizes now that she made the wrong choice. end of story. :cool:

I got a feeling if it was some big dude of Middle Eastern decent calling the cops "white devils" with a strong accent, many here would get past feelings of possible abuse of power.
