avreage gas price $8.21/gallon here in Helsinki. it's been there a while so guess there soon will be some "lack of oil"-reason to pump it up again...

I bet their miles traveled by car are massively lower than the US. Sure, people in Europe pay more per gallon. But they also have ridiculous public transportation- trains, bus, etc- they drive way less than we do.

I think it goes without saying that they drive less, my cynical mind immediately went to thinking that I bet it averages out to about the same amount of money per year spent on gasoline:shrug:
