Assuming you have quoted correctly (Why don't you use the KJV?), you give a fine example of the violence promoted by Xtians.
Matthew 10:32-39 (King James Version)
32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Duff ,6 half dozen.I gotta laugh thou because just as I expected you and Trench have taken his words out of content.Read it again slower and really think what he means by his words. He is very tricky when he speaks. It is not easy you almost gotta break it down word for word, sentence to sentence.Let's put it this way ,there is a warning of violence and unrest between man .
Just because he says by him doesn't mean he is looking for it.Just like it says in the bible not one man is good, not one.I could go deeper into this passage but with you baby steps is a start.
