Today marks the 5 year anniversary of my first wifes passing of cancer at age 32. Hard to believe it has been this long already. I thank many of you for being there over the years and allowing me to share my story.

It was a haunting decision to tell the physicians to withdraw care after 20 grueling days in the ICU and within minutes she passed. Ventilator, trach, feeding tubes, catheters, many many IVs, VAT surgery, tubes, chemo, and constant sedation for the last 15 days. Brutal. I will never forget her taking her last breath. It was virutally impossible to leave her that night. I like to think there arent many physically or mentally stronger than me, but that broke me down into fragments.

She was a special person, beautiful on the inside and gorgeous on the outside. You never think you are going to be in that situation so my advice is live for the moment and enjoy each day, do this with your significant other-kids-family and or friends. Life can be short.

Now, I am blessed enough to find another great beautiful woman. Recently married again a few months ago. One that has accepted what I have been through and supported me to the fullest. I am thankful for her.

Thanks to all. TO the bar I go! Bartender shot of Belvedere please and leave the bottle :)! No worries I bowl tonight and I will be thinking I am across from Noley ready to kick his ASS.

I love you bro. I am sure it is still difficult to go through that, every time you think about it.

You're good guy and I know happiness for you just started anew. I know you're moving on, but you're the kind of guy that doesn't forget either.

Take care, Bud

Hope to see you at a Madjack event soon. Even if Nole shows up and squirts jizz all over himself at the sight of a bottle of crown wedged between an elderly ladies bags. :0008

I know exactly what you went through Jr11. Lost my dad when he was 49, my mom when she was 37 and my sister when she was 27. All cancer. It definitely took some time to pick up the pieces and move forward.
