Agree. I asked Hawkeye for dates because he made it sound like they are few and far between. Colorado in June/July would be great, just doubt the attendance would be good, but it sounds like all the regulars would travel there. Nothing from Nole about Colorado though. Hawkeye????????

No on Colorado for me but Agent can take my spot.

We're pretty even when it comes to golf.

The following is a list of places that are more appealing than Belterra:

1. Denver Golf, fly-fishing, good weather. Hawkeye seems to have a handle on the golf aspect. Agent lives in the mountains and likes to fly fish. Top choice for me.

2. Chicago I freakin' love Chicago. Cubs game, food, nightlife, it's all there. I am sure there is available golf. This trip will cost more than the rest based on my experiences there.

3. New Orleans Some golf courses, food, nightlife, live music, casino, offshore fishing, but it is hot and muggy in July and I am not a golfer.

4. Myrtle Beach Tons of golf courses, good nightlife and cooler due to coastal breezes.

5. Anyplace else that has been brought up

There is a Horseshoe casino in northern Indiana. I believe it's about half an hour from downtown Chicago. Maybe our friends at Horseshoe Southern Indiana can hook us up in Northern Indiana.

That way the rolling bar will be in attendance.

These events don't set themselves up. My only tie to Belterra is the past, which worked out pretty well both times. For the time of year we are looking at, I'd like to do a trip to northern Michigan (Treetops) but it isn't going to draw and there isn't enough for the non-golfers to do.

I just want this thing to get set up so I can make plans.

This should be set up by the beginning of next week.

Shit is already in the works.

Kickserv needs to fucking attend.

Old School and Sportsaholic too.

Everybody calm down and be patient until the packages are posted. If you're lucky, you'll get another sticky to post in about how you're going to go and then cancel 4 days out.

Just finished talking with our head pro. We have no Saturdays left in June/July with decent 4-5 tee off times together., except July 4th weekend (July 2nd) Have some Fridays -like June 3-July 1st and July 29th -we could play golf Firday--go gambling Saturday in the mts? Or screw it and I will set it up for next year for sure and will do the planning in December for a date in late June 2012. I want to make it a family thing as I can get free tixs for our water park-best in the USA--go karts-mini golf etc. Will throw in a free BBQ. Can lineup up a bus to the mts to gamble at a cost.-but golf carts and beer/BBQ- Water World tixs, mini golf and go karts wil be free-- on me. Next year is the last year I could do it as I am term limited and off our Parks and Recreation Baord. Will have to keep it to about 16-20 golfers

Set it up for 2012. Pick a date, ask for reservations, adjust tee times as needed. Setting it up well in advance will be the best way to get people to commit. JMO.
