The easy route is always the midwest, but I'm up for anything. If Hawkeye volunteers to set this up and arrange the golf and hotel stay, I'm cool with that. I think our time frame of July-August is a nice way to break up the summer, so I would just like to see us stick with that. This past year was really nice because some of the guys that really like to play got to get in more than just one round with a bunch of MJers. Playing with Jack, Nole, and Phart the day before the Main Event was a real blast.
Shark Attack has a much better presentation . . . and their both made with a cup of everclear
when in rome....
As I discussed with Hawkeye last year, I would be willing to head out to Denver for an outing.
Elgin is a fantastic idea though. The guys that are in early enough on Friday could do a Cubs rooftop in the afternoon. BBC said he would spring for the limo for that due to how convenient the whole shindig would be for him.

very well said, and if we figure this out then I can arrange my vacation around it, so I don't have to drive all night again after getting on the cruise ship
but that was part of the fun....getting the "Where in the World is bsucards" updates while we are sitting at the bar
I am here in Nawlins right now getting ready to meet up with Cie Grant to see Dr. John. Ate at Mandinas, Parkway Tavern, Liuzzas so far. 3 more days of food. Just took an Alka Seltzer. :facepalm:
Going to casino tomorrow. Horse track New Years Day. Can't imagine a more fun place to have it. Any where East and West and Central can be there in a 2 hour or less flight. Great food, gambling, more great food, Bourbon Street, City Park golf course (?) more great food? Gee, sounds like a terrible place to go. :0074

2) Pebble Beach; or
3) Abu Dhabi.
As usual, I'll probably just come in from Cincinnati for the day.

I made the same suggestion last year. We don't need to have just one. We could have one out West and one in the Central. Just need to have someone get enough interest to plan a small one and grow it as needed. Don't ask for date suggestions, just pick a decent place, set up a date, ,make sure there are reasonably affordable accommodations near, and lock in a few guys so you can (at the very least) have a foursome get together and have fun.
For some guys, I don't understand why it has to be in your backyard in order for you to attend. I like how Jack Jr (Cie) is lobbying for NOLA because he actually attended one outside of his area. He and LawTchan are capable and willing to set it up and they are willing to go somewhere else too.
I will never miss a golf outing so just let me know when and where so I can start to make plans.
From a selfish standpoint I prefer southern Indiana or somewhere in the Midwest but I'll go wherever the majority decides.
The casino makes it nice but it's not a deal breaker for me. Just getting to hang out with everyone makes the trip worthwhile.
Vegas is starting to look like a real long shot for me unfortunately but I will never miss a golf outing.
Might not be a rolling bar if we stray too far from Indiana though, LOL.
