I can't believe everyone is picking #1 team last--I'd give them slightest of edges for being top pick--however I have never seen Scuba play so a bit in the dark there.
These are most evenly balanced teams I've seen--there are no throw outs. Good job on selections.:toast:

As for my team, I think Nole would concur on this statement; I will be in awe of no one because I will be drinking, cursing, and beating the shit out of the golf cart. I am fairly competitive, but I suck, so drinking helps combat the two.
Was playing in a scramble last year with former Vol and Reds baseball player, Chris Burke. We were 125 out and the green was elevated. I hit third and pushed a wedge pin high on the right side of the green. Bur-key says, "I'm thinking a nine." I told him wedge was the club, I just pushed it a little. He changes clubs, hits one right at the flag and comes up short and the ball rolls back down the hill.
Bur-key mumbles, "I knew I should have the nine." I said, "Hell I would have thought a major league baseball guy could nut up and hit one like a man."
Not knowing me like Nole does, Bur-key didn't like the sarcastic comment and I thought he was going to rip my head off. The former UT trainer had to calm him down.
Is there no sarcasm in baseball:shrug:

I'm all for some 5-somes on Friday afternoon. That way you get to visit with even more people. Of course, it'd be nice to get the number up to 12 people for Friday afternoon golf. My guess though.....after the morning golf, some people that say they are playing afternoon golf will bail out. It's easy to say you are gonna play 36 holes in the heat when you are typing on the computer.
My suggestion......We should just wait to see who will actually play on Friday afternoon and then come up with groups while we are standing there. We could just come up with matches and bets during lunch. Thoughts?
