hi Johnnny
Maybe you are young enough, prob. not cause there's a prerequisite you gotta do before taking the course, It's very expensive when you add it all up and I had to go through it -
IT IS--> OVER 40 YEARS of betting on hosses :0030 and trying everything to get them to win :s5: even played hookie from school and work (not often) x35: to get to the track; basically I'd hit the track at least once per week Like I wrote here once before, I LUVED every minute of it esp. watching them champion horses in N.Y. and N.J. (Monmouth), put a bundle at the track on Secretariat who for the first time was facing the greatest turf horses at that time, and he beat them too. I'd do it all again without a doubt if I could start all over again.
Yeah, I do some fancy statistics for each race and it it takes a little time, explaining just that would take a chapter in a book not an email, letter, or post card. It really is more about reasoning rather than capping steps and that comes from experience. Here's something that took me the last 5 years to realize

)) there ain't no handicapping sys, that gonna beat all the races - that is, these days I play horses to make moola first and for entertainment 2nd and that means that if I played the Big A or Belmont (there's even a difference between playing those two btw) like I play Philly - I'd be licking rocks at the beach for nourishment and that goes for visa versa. The handicapping tip is that you gotta watch a shitload of hosses race at only ONE WACE TWACK for a pretty long while and study the horses, trainers, jockeys, and
OWNERS <--which most players don't do. And know EVERYTHING ABOUT EVERYTHING regarding that one track. Beating the horses is prob. the most difficult thing to achieve compared to beating other sports. Believe me, even after all I did, I ain't getting rich playin hosses and be careful if I write something like "I'm gonna put 3 figures on a horse I just luv today" cause my record sez doing that means the horse will run out of the moola. Been there and done that more than once.
Forget emails, today I didn't even have the time to get my bet in to collect my winning nos, exacta ($91 in the 4th race), I was typing in here. My wife broke her leg a few months ago while going up one of them ceiling garage ladders while bringing stuff in the attic. Her put together operation didn't work out at all, leg was crooked as all hell a couple of months after the operation; she got a knee implant a month ago and is doing better now, but doing everything around here AND still helping her these days gives me very little spare time. Just writing this took up some time over 2 days.
Just sit back Johnny, have a beer while I do the figuring work and bet my stinkin one to five dollar bills plicks and see if you like them while I'm still around here and maybe we'll make some loot . :toast: BTW years ago my sister and bro -in= law lived in Warminster and I'd take a ride up Street Rd. to good ole Philly Park.
