I was sitting in our LR at the computer with MSNBC.com on the monitor. In the upper left hand corner of the page, they displayed a pic of the first tower in flames. My wife was in the kitchen and she walked in and turned on the tv. Ten seconds later, the second plane hit the tower.

On the way back from D.C. we stopped in Shanksville, PA ( Flight 93 Memorial ). National Parks service have done a pretty good job with the memorial for 40 brave men & women.

I was at work and went home for lunch. Sat in front of the tv on my rocking chair with my hands on my big 9 month pregnant belly watching it unfold. She was doing somersaults in my belly like she knew there was so much turmoil going on. 13 days later my daughter was born.
