Hiram Bullock was the barefoot guitarist for David Letterman s world most dangerous band, from its inception until 1988. Also played for Saturday night live band. Paul Schaefer recently referred to him as the greatest guitarist he has ever seen, bar JH

A solid guitar instrumental from David Gilmour's 1978 solo disc, released between Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here and The Wall.

If I had to pick one guitarist to represent us in a contest against the Martians then it would be this dude.

A nice, short (2:42), bluesy instrumental by the freak that has captured my heart.
May I never see his face.

Buckethead-Witches on the Heath

And to demonstrate how divirsified he is, check out the more progressive piece here...starts out calm enough but the last 6-7 minutes features some standout guitar leads.

Buckethead-Soothsayer

listening to it now...very cool piece

Can't believe the guy is wasting his time with Axl Rose.
New Gn'R disc would only hurt his catalog.
Heard some bootlegs and their songs are shit.

Yes I needed
Some time to get away
I needed some peace of mind
Some peace of mind that would stay

Went on limewire just to get a better copy of a single song and, lo and behold, I found some other goodies.
Buckethead has some new releases--this guy's catalog is ginormous. Let's put it this way, thought I pretty much had almost everything but found a couple of live and bootleg things, a great-sounding 2007 release (heard 3 of 13...back to bluesy on this disc...covers all styles (keeping with his goofy-titles it's called Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot)()) AND a 13-disc release of experimental instrumental stuff (his stuff is totally instrumentals, a la Vai,Satriani,Malmsteen). A 13-disc friggin' set! Heard some and there's some good work and some not so hot stuff, like much of his work. Worth sifting for the good stuff 'cuz he is great. Anyways, if interested (longshot), the disc set is titled In Search Of The..., with a disc for each letter in that title.

No vocals but some deadly stuff in his library.
Mrs. Beasley, with a link posted up top, is still my fave by him.
Monster blues playing.
Someone check it out.
Would love some feedback.
Track blows me away. Appreciate it more with further listens.

Found a piece I hadn't heard before. Off a limited edition 2007 release. Very mellow but the latter five minutes or so really show the man's originality with the instrument.

Plays 10 minutes but seems to cut off.
Still a pretty cool piece.
Mellow, as mentioned.

That Aunt Suzie track plays to 11:44.
Scored it last night.
Solid piece.

Found another cool mellow piece from the same dude during the same session. Never heard it before but it's quite nice.

2007 release.

Buckethead - Sail on Soothsayer

Worth a listen.

Still want word on Mrs. Beasley, linked up top.
Sound like Floyd, as a friend suggested?
Killer bluesy licks, IMO.

Getting to like this freak the more I listen.
