just one suggestion jack

dont keep a bullet in the chamber

rack it from the clip if you have to use it

I had a friend that shot himself in the groin

and there was no way it could have gone off.

:SIB

I prob won't even carry it unless I'm in some bad area. Prob keep it in the car and night stand.

I don't know why I am thinking like this, I never have before. I've never even been close to a situation where I would have even shown somebody the thing.

Dam what the hell has this world come where everybody needs weapons. Very sad state of affairs. What happened to settling things with talking things out or some fisticuffs. It's a scary world out there but I won't buy a weapon. If I can't settle a dispute then shoot me but you'll go to hell and I'll go to a better place :0074

we aint talking about disputes. I settle all of my disputes by talking or calling cops.

we are talking about home invasion. Burglary, or
a pit bull attacks you on the street.

car jacking, someone robs you on the street and your family is there.

you know them kind of disputes.

Listen Mr crook would you mind putting that gun down so we can just talk this out

whappppp......

there lays spartan, he was such a good person and could talk his way out of any dispute.

but now he is dead. Gone to a better place. God bless the criminal that did this to him . His family thanks you.

Yeah, I think it's coming to that.

Wait until about June of next year.

Things are about to come crashing down with a lot of desperate people running around.

Look at these idiots in restaurants, storming stores to rob them, car jacking, etc, etc.

You ain't seen nothing yet.

I guess Georgia must have alot of crime and if you're worried about getting held up then arm yourself. I can handle myself when it comes down to it Scotty boy.

Safety has long been a point of contention for Glock of Austria. Unlike most handguns, which have external on-off safeties, Glock pistols are equipped with internal mechanisms that prevent firing. These internal safeties are disengaged merely by depressing the trigger. The ability to fire immediately, without worrying about an external safety, is one feature Glock has stressed as an advantage when selling its guns, especially to police departments.:SIB

Skeptics see this feature in a different light. The Consumer Federation of America has cited the Glock's design as one reason the gun has been the subject of dozens of lawsuits filed after unintentional shootings, including a number by police officers. The company has won or confidentially settled most of these cases without acknowledging any liability.

Paul F. Jannuzzo, Glock's former top executive in the U.S., says in an interview that, overall, the company's pistols are as safe as comparable handguns?and more durable. "The one problem," he says, "was [the Glock] would go off sometimes when it wasn't supposed to."

Occasional Jamming

Another problem that surfaced in the 1990s and persisted for years thereafter was occasional jamming, Jannuzzo says. In 1998 he and other Glock officials in the U.S. discovered guns that failed to fire properly. "These malfunctions were very difficult to clear and could not be cleared with the normal 'tap, rack' drill," stated a Feb. 12, 1998, memo from American employees to Glock founder and owner Gaston Glock entitled "Performance of G 22s." "Law enforcement officers see this type of stoppage as a serious failure and one which has life-threatening implications," the memo added. "If these were received by the FBI or DEA [both Glock customers], they would immediately suspend the contract and demand a retest or other action."

The memo described tests on eight sample guns that were fired more than 2,000 times in all. "In particular, we are concerned with the difference in the poor test results in the U.S., compared with the better results achieved in Austria," the memo told Gaston Glock. The company manufactures parts in Austria and assembles guns for the American market at a plant outside Atlanta.

In an interview, Jannuzzo adds: "It was a problem, and it was much more of a problem than they [executives in Austria] wanted to admit.?They never knew which guns were going to break."

I got a story I will share .

This gold store in the suburbs has people they pay to go up and down the street holding a sign saying come in with your gold. They buy and sell.
Street advertising works I guess,.

For about a year now every day I see this black guy out there with the sign. He has iphones and kinda dances up and down all day for 8 hours.

He wears a big gold hat

He looks to be late 20's

Rain or shine he is out there.

Then I see this white guy about 5 miles away. He works for a furniture store. Same kind of advertising to get ppl to stop and buy.

His method is he has a chair. He sits in the chair behind the sign blocking the sun and just waits for the hours to go by. I dont think he lasted a month.

So yesterday I was feeling the Christmas spirit. I pull in and motion the black guy over to my truck,

I handed him 20 bucks and I said, man I dont know how you do it. Everyday I see you out here no matter what. You never stop and your always here. '
whats the deal I asked him ?

He looked at me and said... I am a sole survivor.

I told him Merry Christmas and drove away.

I dont know. It kind of got to me that level of work ethic.

there are still good people in the world that will work minimum pay jobs, instead of robbing or stealing.
