At the very least, posting the line that you got would be appreciated. If you want to keep amounts to yourself, you still could. Of course, you don't have to listen to any of these criticisms or suggestions. You're right, we can take your picks or
leave em. I just think it would be a nice courtesy if you would do that. No big deal if you don't.

Just to clarify things.......

Posting a W-L record is important if you are tracking TOTALS in baseball (and in the NHL to a lesser extent). Since most baseball TOTALS operate on a 20 cent line, with only marginal movement (either as high as -120 or +120) W-L results are fine if you are a TOTALS player. It is why I post W-L results only for totals in baseball results.

As others have pointed out, W-L record in SIDES is almost meaningless. It is possible to hit only 34 percent winners but still make a profit if you are betting dogs at +200. In other words, a record of 20-10 is completely meaningless if you are betting Martinez, Clemons, Schilling, Johnson, and Brown every night.

The original poster can do what he wants and it is not for me to lecture on how he wants to represent his record. But anyone that posts a W-L record in baseball WITHOUT actual money results is, at best, suspect for being misled.

I respectfully disagree on one point. No one here is selling anything, so what would be the point of deception. The guy never bragged about his record all he did was post and keep score. I for one don't see how that could be taken as trying to deceive anyone. The only reason this has even come up is that BGH has a very good record. I have seen this here before. Someone that posts every day and does well here, people see it and follow and then grow dependent on it (myself included). Then it is almost as if people feel the capper owes them something. I remind myself that ONLY I am responsible for my plays and also that no one here owes me winners or to post their record for me. I am grateul for what people here choose to share, but remember neither BGH or anyone else HAS to share their picks or anything else, it is their choice!
