This new forum update reminds me of all the other sports forums out there. I stuck with madjacks because I loved the layout and it was easy to navigate on my iPad and iPhone. It was easy to see who posted threads and I was able to navigate through the site very quick. Now I have to examine the message boards and it gives me a headache. Anyway we can vote for the old one to come back???

I'm a pretty positive person, and I tend to not let the small things in life bother me, but...
It's pretty bad. I'm actually taking a web designing class right now, and I can tell you from everything I have learned so far, it is not great (although I didn't need a class to tell me that). Like others have echoed, the color scheme is bad, it looks generic now, and it is more difficult to navigate. I especially don't like how small the author's name is below their threads, as it is difficult to find the people you are looking for.
I realize you are not done, and sorry to pile on. Good luck.
p.s. on the bright side, agent said he will never come back if it looks like this

No, real tough on the eyes as other are saying. I know it is Raven Steeler week and you are all goosed up, but damn.....

I'm trying, it takes time, not easy and these things come generic. I have to make the custom changes.
I'll get it eventually. I got this many and more complaints the ladt time we switched. I was long over due for upgraded version of the forum software. I'll get it. Keep the suggestions coming, it might take a week but I have a lot of time on my hands.
I spent 4 hours changing codes in templates to have alternating colors for the thread display and after all that it didn't work. I'm going crazy and working as quickly as possible to please you folks.

Jaek - I've hated every upgrade you've ever done, and then got used to it. I'm assuming that this will be the same.

i agree wholeheartedly with all of those who mention that the new layout has a background that is WAY too bright and is extremely hard to read
also agree that the site in general is a bit harder to peruse but I could get over that - the pain in my eyes when i come to this site however is unbearable

also, if the forum was not upgraded we probably wouldn't have a forum very soon for security reasons.
the old forum was wide open for hackers and attacks...would shut it right down.
the programmers at our host are working non-stop placing measures to make sure this does not happen, in fact last night they stopped a major attack from hackers in China.

Can we please get hyperlinks or links on the left like before. I can't stand using the back button. Like I'm in general now, how do I get out without hitting the back button?
And I hate it too, but I hate change, and 6 months from now I'm sure I'll be able to say I tolerate it.

Use this at the bottom of the thread you are reading. Usually that's where you navigate out of a thread.

At the bottom there is a dropdown that will take you to any forum you want. Bottom right.
just hit the madjacks logo at the top
and to find the latest posts in ALL the threads, click on "whats new"
at the top of the page - click the general forum link

If you can make the quick reply box a little smaller it would help with that link
As is, you have to scroll up from the very bottom to see that link because of the size of the quick reply box
