i like my sandwich meat to be about the same thickness as the bread part.

i think the hamburgers were 1 pounders which my son ate the whole damn thing but i won't even try that. too friggin big.

If it is Roxy's I have been there once before.

For some late night grub with the gf. I think my bacon cheeseburger was like 18-20 bucks and her personal size pizza was about the same. It was real late and we had been walking around for awhile and she refused to get some of the street meat from the vendors so we stumbled in there. When I left I felt like I had been robbed.

DTB - a few years back, weren't there several chinese buffets closed down in BG for re-using food off people's plates?

nope. The House of Wan way back in the late 70s was fined for having canines in the freezer. It's closed now.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
looks like Carnegie Deli! Place is in the Theatre district, at 7th at 55th....I can even fit enuf of those sandwitches in my fat mouth to eat one!

$16 is a bargain for NYC---for fresh finely done meat like this, especially if you split it with someone. Lame McD's is over 6 bucks/person.

they opened an outpost of the Carnegie Deli inside The Mirage in Las Vegas, near the sportsbook, no less...

Yeah it's carnegie deli. They have one in vegas, in the MGM?? I think. It's terrible there though, the meat isn't good at all at the vegas one.

Not that I know of either---were reports that cat population diminished dramatically- :)

have a health inspector here I play golf with occasionally--and he tells me mosdt here are very good--he said their biggest prob is with a certain weivel (spl) that gets into bulk rice.

--by the way Clint--the Doves were GREAT! thank you-thank you- thank you--you headed to Canada this year?--about out of ducks and geese :)
