Stem cell research is one of the areas I disagree with the Republicans on. It could save a lot of lives and do a lot of good for the American people.
My wife (who has type 1 diabetes) and myself (PKD, bad kidneys) went to go see a geneticist the other day about having kids. We were told that there was a 50% chance one of our kids would develop PKD or diabetes. However, with the new stem cell research out now, that works just fine NOW and just needs to go through clinical trials we could avoid this. If approved, which it will be eventually, there would be pills or injections to correct these genes to make our kid perfectly healthy. I might not have gotten all of the "doctor talk" down but this was the just of the conversation.

I am all for stem cell research and have my own opinions on the matter and am definitely in favor of it. I do keep church and state seperate, I keep football out of the church too as I am not that easily influenced on unrelated subjects. Of course I don't get distracted every time someone shines a flashlight on the wall either or even sometimes, but apparently we can't all say the same. By the way a quick inside tip..

haven't they been researching stem cells with private money? I have no problem with the government using money for a good cause like finding a cure for diseases, stem cell research does not bother me

Seriously?!!? Nothing personal but that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Do you believe in Democracy and freedom of the vote and such? I got news for you chief, you might want to check the voting records of Hunts and Fancy Catsup and every other food company cuz you are going to starve to death!!! Whatever, you are entitled to do whatever you want as long as it doesn't harm others or break laws and that branch is extended to all of our citizens, of course you have to be 18 or older which I am guessing you are. You wouldn't guess it from your post though, party on Garth.

I am very opinionated and voice my opinions everyday, I really am a good person, never done drugs, never cheated on my wife, love my daughter, some of the things I post is for the reactions, the ketchup thing is real, the Nike thing was just made up I like new balance shoes anyway

he is only on for 3 hours a day and by my math is 15 hours per week-1 per day for lunch which leaves 10/week out of 40:142smilie
