I'm from Mississippi, I have friends very close to the Ole Miss program, and I have inside info. The game will not even be close. I could care less whether you believe this or not, but I suggest you wait until the game is concluded before you become so bombastic.

Having friends close to the program who are surely biased is NOT inside info.

If you had friends close to the Wyoming program who thought they were going to toss it in, that might be more consistent with inside info.

No matter how great your sources close to the Ole Miss program are feeling, their team still absolutely blows. They might find the resistance a little stronger than expected. A team the southeast has never won a game in Laramie. It's at altitude, in the middle of nowhere, and a bizarre place to play.

I know you mean well Reb, so hopefully you didnt take anything I posted the wrong way. Inside info always seems to be a phrase that will generate responses both good and bad. Just a touchy phrase. Personally, I wouldnt throw that label on my plays, just because its asking for trouble. Hell, Ive got close friends who actually are players in the ACC, MAC, and Big East, but I still could never think to put them out there on the line like that.

All in all, Im looking forward to a good game on Saturday. Ole Miss will have their hands full, they could wear down Wyoming or the Boys could pull the upset. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Best of luck, as I may just pass the game.

I will say, however, that your Michigan teaser is a winner. I think Michigan will dominate Iowa yet in a low-scoring manner. I kinda like Michigan 1st half for that game.

Thanks for the civility, GMan. I've never used that phrase before, and I've learned my lesson -- I will never use it again :scared

The Citadel and Furman are both from the Southeast, and both have been there in the past 5 years. They have had other teams in the earlier 90s as well.

Reb is as honest as they come. No BS and he always post an honest record. Bashers play against him, because he will come back.

Stay the course Reb, you have many supporters.

This is my last post on the issue.

I never said Reb wasn't honest and I have nothing against him.

The inside info was a little over the top.

That's all.

Good luck.

Citadel and Furman? Those are your examples of southeastern teams?

:142lmao:

Adding:

Friday:

7* BG +2 (bought half)

Saturday:

7* Alabama +6 (bought half)
Arkansas does not 'out-talent' Bama anywhere, although they do have more experience at QB. Losing Brodie Croyle might seem like a big blow to Bama, but Miami transfer Mark Guillon will do just fine. Bama didn't enjoy losing to the Hogs in 2 OT last season, and will be fired up to even the score. This should be a close, low-scoring game, with either team having the ability to win. Gimme those points!

5* Teaser: Bama +13, under 56.5

5* Tennessee -23
Vols out-talents La Tech badly. This could get ugly.

5* LSU -30
You sandwich game lovers, don't get caught up in this one. True, it is the classic sandwich game, but LSU is ticked off about losing to Auburn, and Miss St does not have the hosses to slow them down. If the Bulldogs scored 7 points against Maine, what are they going to do with the Tigers' defense? Depending on when subs start to play, this game could be something like 55-7.

More later.

Speaking of sandwich games, Tennessee is in a terrible sandwich. Coming off Florida with Auburn up next. Not to mention the emotional ending to Saturday's UF/UT game, and throw in the fact that Tennessee seems to be one of those teams that goes through the motions when they play inferior teams (that Rutgers game sticks in my mind, and last year Tennessee didnt win a non-conference game by more than 20, even though they were favored to in a couple of them). Gotta agree with LSU. They will probably smash Miss State unless Croom has a miracle arranged with the man upstairs. But to be quite honest, after looking at LaTech, they could be worth a play. Are Vols capable of winning by 28 or 30? Probably. But they have proven over the years that they do not take care of business (blow-out style) vs. inferior non-conf teams

Many solid posters no longer post here for the very bashing you received this week. For crying out loud, Citadel and Furman haven't won in Laramie..... who gives a fawk?? There is some quality information on this board, but I feel that I have to wade through too much BS to find it. And I agree with you that the nonsense will continue as long as Jack allows it.

Anyhow, I'm playing Kansas big. TT off a huge blowout visit a well-coached Jayhawk squad. Mangino is looking to emphasize the running game and TTech D obviously blows.

Keep up the solid capping, as I'm sure you'll turn it around.

"as long as Jack allows it"

gimme a break here. geez.

there were valid points on both sides of the discussion. i like good discussions on games especially with differing opinions. i agree some words could have been chosen more carefully on BOTH SIDES but BOTH SIDES had good points.

the one phrase that started the whole problem with this thread was "inside information". most people don't need to hear that crap because we're constantly being spammed by bullshit scamdicappers claiming that crap.

so, if you are claiming the "bashers" are ruining the forum by calling out a guy that claims he has "inside information", i have to disagree.

we need more solid information on this site and less "LOCK", "inside info", "100*GOY", crap.

am i wrong? NO!

were they wrong calling it out and asking about it? NO!

it's the people that fall for those ridiculous claims that are going to get in over their heads and get hurt and this forum and members should be looking out for and helping those that are gullible enough to BELIEVE THAT CRAP.

Hopefully, the Rebels will get it done this week. I'm waiting in hopes that the line will drop to 3. No need to take more chances than necessary.

Good luck.

Two new teasers:

Friday:

7* Teaser: Boise -14, under 72.5

5* NC State +16, under 54.5

All my same game teasers are at Pinnacle, where you can tease the same game 7.5 points.
