yesterday my son cody told me a little story about his triathlon saturday in chicago. he was half way through his swim in very cold water when he spotted a swimmer having trouble. I guess the guy was a rookie and wasn't wearing a wet suit. the swimmer was floating on his back and was exhausted. cody swam up near him, being cautious not to get to close and the swimmer started yelling to him that he was cold and exhausted and couldn't go on. just then the swimmer went under came up and went under again. cody swam to him put him in a rescue hold and headed towards a rescue boat yelling for help. people on the beach also noticed the problem and started yelling to the rescue team to help them. the rescue boat saw this and came to their rescue, taking the swimmer to shore and getting him medical attention. cody finished the swim and proceeded to finish the triathlon.....................geeezzzz unbelievable. I'm so proud of him, wonder if I would have the ability and or courage to do this, sure hope so.

You're probably better off swimming in the lake (off Chicago) now when it's cold. In a couple months they'll be closing down the beaches cuz of fecal greaseballs.:mj07:

the boys.....that's a nice story...but you and your wife must of been there to set an example for your son...as strong and positive role models...
I have said this all my life...children need role models....that is the "most powerful form of education". congrads to your son...and you for giving him those values..
