why start an inflammatory thread like this, never post another comment, then come back over a month later and post good points??? Nice going; probably took another 6 months off of my life.
FWIW I'm against abortion but it's my personal belief and I don't have a problem with others having a different opinion.
Here's my one problem with it... A girl gets pregnant and decides she doesn't want to have the baby. Some(not all) of the reasons might be that she's too young, not ready, no money, just doesn't want a baby. So, she has a CHOICE to rid herself of that baby.
The guy who had sex with that girl has NO CHOICE. What if he's too young, not ready, no money or just doesn't want a baby. I know there are a lot of men out there that don't take care of their kids but in my opinion IF we're going to be a pro choice country then it should go both ways. I have no choice if a girl I get pregnant wants to abort the baby but I should have a choice that I don't want to be a father(in terms of actually being a father) if she decides to have the baby.
Both parties make the choice to have sex, they both should have the choice on wether or not they want to be parents. If I where to get a girl pregnant I should have the choice to say I want nothing to do with the baby emotionally or financially.(personally I think that would be very crappy but hey we're talking about choices being more important than lives). I doubt females would want males to have a choice though.
