That was a real tough venue for them to play in tonight against probably the best OSU team Tressell has had - talent wise and they won.

Do you wanna compare this offense with the 2002 Krenzel offense? 2006's team didn't have this defense- maybe 2005 - but Penn State just beat a very good team on the road at night.

Sorry but Ohio State is not a very good team. Period. Zero offense and an average to above average defense. Smoked by USC and playing in a conference that has been pathetic and otehr than Mich State not even impressive in those games. Maybe Penn State will be proven to be a very good team - but it sure isnt because of this win.

Guess I was wrong about Ohio State's offense - actually 92nd not 100. 108th in passing.


Certainly understandable when Youngstown State, Ohio, Troy and Purdue have been on the schedule. And now 3 games they have failed to score an offensive touchdown.

Since most of the Big Ten are frauds, PSU should win out. That being said, we won't really know just how good they are until January.

I think Bama has the best shot to the championship. Defense and a well-balanced offense is killer. Sorry but I don't think Texas Tech, Kansas, Oklahoma, Okl. State, or Mizzu even know how to spell defense. JMO

Gags I just dont see Bama winning at LSU and then beating Florida..or Georgia again. I think PSU has the best shot simply bc they play nobody and have no conference championship game...so they will probably get to the game. USC may walk in as well.

And yes the Big 12 defenses are suspect..in part bc the offenses are fabulous. ...but the Big 11 has no offense...so who knows if they have any defense against a good offense.

I guess there couldn't be the possibility that the Big XII might have 5 of the top 10 best offenses in the country. People see a 3-2 final score in the SEC and they have the best defense in the country. Or might it be that the offense is just pathetic. Same goes for the Big XII. Yes, tons of points are scored each week, but the wannabees are quick to shout bad defense when it might possibly be just unbelievable offense. I guess we'll just see during bowl season.:shrug:
