how can there not be an investigation into the end of the air force game???

can someone explain to me why they would go for a 4th and 1 from their own 20 with a min to go.

i have never seen this done by any team ever in my life.

why don't you punt the ball, yup i understand , punt block or bad snap.

they were up 24 points. i realize the game is in hand, up 24 your going for it to run the rest of the clock out.

but you're risking giving the other team on your 20. isn't that encouraging giving them a quick score??

id love to here the coaches response to what the fuck he was doing and why.

after scoring? why not try for onside kick? say they kicked ball 37 yards to the air force 35.

i didn't see game, but isn't that strange as fuck as well.

That was disgusting after controlling much of the game. Air Force also fumbled right before the half at the 4 when they at worst get a FG.

resulting in a gift wrapped touchdown to the opponent , that just so happens to cover the spread.

and after san jose scores with 50 secs. left, they don't even attempt an onside kick? aren't they still trying to win the game?

a bad beat backdoor cover would've been san jose scoring 2 tds in the last 7 ins. which they did.

but i wouldn't have a shed a tear if a.f. had punted the ball like they should've and s.j. went down

No. You're missing point. You've seen it plenty of times, but just dont recall it, because the games meant nothing to you. This one did, so you noticed it. You ever buy a car, and then notice every other car you see in the road is "your car"? Same thing. Those cars were always there, you just didn't notice them.

In no way are you crazy for questioning the call. Many times college head coaches are not always the best in game managers (good leaders and speakers but not game managers) but this was a circumstance that should be looked into...I had no stake in the game, was just watching...from what I can tell you from observing your capping you will make up for it in no time but its still hard to swallow when you called the game correctly

If AF gets the 1st down they get to take an knee and end the game, punt and they need to go back out on D and play against the pass....I like the call....:0008

If AF gets the 1st down (only 1 yard...they get that 1 yard 95% of the time) they take an knee and end the game.

Punt and they need to go back out on D and play against the pass. Why put your defense out there and they have to play full speed (possible injury) .
