The BCS always says every game counts and the regular season is a playoff every week. If that's true, then Bama already had their shot.

I honestly think LSU beats whomever they put against them. I just don't think Bama deserves another chance.

I agree, especially cause it was a home game. Now if they lost at LSU then I could see it.

I would rather watch Houston if they beat Tulsa play LSU, they would get whacked but I would rather see it or any other 1 loss big team. Stanford?

How a team that doesnt even play in their conference championship game can win a national title is beyond me. This is how screwed up this system is.

I am not saying they shouldnt play for a nat'l title if they earn it on the field in some sort of playoff but with the way the system is now if they get a chance to play for nat'l title without even playing in their conf championship then something is wrong.

By the "eye test", there's only one good team - LSU. Bama is on par with Stanford IMHO.
