Showing WNBA highlights that no one cares about is my largest objection to the four letter network. They only show these to promote the product which can be viewed on ABC/ESPN.

Hockey coverage has dropped to a third of what is was when ABC/ESPN had the TV contract.

I agree, ESPN was better when it covered "real sports" evenly and had rodeos, sumos and fishing as programming. :com:

millions of people watch fuking poker on television, to me its inconceivable, why not Domino s

i'm not a fan of poker on tv with the exception of high stakes on gsn. that's the only tv poker i'll watch. poker on tv was good for players because it brought many more to the table or online.

with poker at least the action is generally very slow. people hem and haw for face time or they generally have no clue how to play their hand. theres also that one minute segment that at least tells you the rules if you don't know.

dominos they played like 10 games in the 1/2 hour it was on and didn't show the rules. maybe i'm in the minority, but i don't even have a clue how to play. is there that much skill in it? and then at the end of each game they would just throw a tile face down and shuffle em all up and i didn't get any of it.

perhaps your right. perhaps dominos is the next poker. maybe i just don't get it or have the mental capacity for the beautiful sport.

What about the f'ing paint ball? How gay is that?

Grown men running around playing paint ball on TV. Lame.

I've played PB and it can be a rush, but damn, put it on TV?

This poker craze has made some morons TV producers dying to find the next huge thing.

Let me help. It ain't going to be f'ing paint ball or domino's (unless they add the "slamming the board yelling Domino MF'er" :mj07: )

BDB, I don't understand any of it brother, I know you like poker, I loved playing in college also. I know I'm in the huge minority, but if you told me 5 years ago, tens of millions of people would be WATCHING PEOPLE PLAYING POKER, I would say you were insane. I could never even take car racing or the rodeo on ESPN never mind poker. And the poker thing spread everywhere, I think it is on the travel channel, Bravo everywhere! Millions of people WATCHING people play poker.

I know lots of the New England Patriots, when these guys get 10 free minutes, all they want to do is play Dominos, in between meetings up the stadium or between practice that's all they do play Dominos, I don't get it at all. And I'm not even sure its the same game as on TV, from what they tell me it is a thinking man s game, more so than chess, I find this hard to believe, but what do I know.

Btw Rodney Harrison is the Domino champion of Patriots
