I have been saying this for 2-3 weeks now to my friends..... I 100% think Luck will find his home in South Beach next year....It is just something I KNOW will happen. Cant you all totally see the media hype of him revitalizing Miami?? OF course!!!! I wish I already found a site that offers this prop bet......but haven't found one. My odds would have been better 2-3 weeks ago. If anyone sees this prop anywhere...let me know!!

I don't think its 100% that luck leaves school, let alone goes to Miami.

In fact, who finishes in position to draft Luck, might be a big factor in his decision. Do they have a solid O-line? Whats their track record with young qb's. Do they have a top 5 running back? How are there receivers? Do they have a great possession extending tight end? Two or three burners that can catch the ball in traffic? Who is the offensive co-ordinator?

Luck's ideal, might not be what we might pick. Do you want a place with a veteran in his last or next to last season. As frustrating as it was for Rodgers, it may be he owes his success now to having a few years on the clip board.

A young qb's psyche is, in some, a very fragile entity. Thrown into the fire too soon, creates scars some can't get past.

Luck will probably get 70-80 million from his first two contracts. Hes a bright kid, and enjoying the freedom he has now, while he can, unless the set up is perfect, he may just opt for another year in college.

If they had everything you just suggested, that particular football team won't be bad enough to get the first pick:shrug:

My guess is Indy, but damn Mia looked horrible last night, they have a great chance to lose every game.

Indy has manning and vikings just took ponder so u guys can scratch those teams right off the list

I'll give you the Colts maybe not taking him, although I still think they would because he's that good but you're crazy if you think Minny gets the number 1 pick and doesn't take him. Ponder or no Ponder if you get a chance to take Luck then you take it. Outside of injury the kid is the closest thing to a sure thing that we've seen.

Good possibility Manning doesn't play another down. Two neck surgeries is serious! They'd take Luck in a heartbeat. Miami does suck that bad, so they have a shot, but Indy would not pass on him if given a shot to draft him.
Plus Ponder will win two games. They have weapons, its just McNabb sucks, ask the Iggles:142smilie

you have to give ponder chance to grow, they just got the guy..... theres no way minny takes luck if they have a shot at him...they have other problems than just the QB situation which i think they will address.......ryan leaf was a sure thing too but he didn't work out, luck is good though i'm sure he will do well in the nfl in a few yrs

Exactly!! Luck will no doubt take the 70-80 million in a HEARTBEAT!! Luck will find himself in a fat pad in South beach to revitalize the Dolphins franchise. 100% is an exaggeration, but willing to lay some $$ down now if I can find it. It's Miami for crying out loud.....

Even if those teams got the top pick...Miami will trade the farm for him even if it costs future #1's etc....its just going to happen.....

If any of you see this as an exotic prop anywhere...let me know!

I concur, Zamo

I concur, Zamo

Heard Ernie Accorsi on radio 2 weeks ago saying the asking price he was considering for John Elway in 1982 draft (before he learned Elway would quit football before playing in Blatimore) was 3 #1's and 2 #2's In retrospect, Elwayproved well worth it, HOF QB with 2 SB wins and took 3 other teams there that had no business being there, 3 teams that would have gone 6-10 at best without him...Luck has that kind of talent, so the asking price will be that high, but even if Miami doesnt get the #1 pick, they will trade up to get him, the NFL doesnt want a joke franchise there, they dont have a choice.....hell, TIm Tebow is going to go down there and deliver a win probably and Luck is 10X the prospect Tebow is, so Luck will end up in Miam.....book it Dann-o!

IF Minny gets the number 1 pick I'll be willing to wager any amount of money you want that they'll take him. When I say any amount I mean any amount. These NFL GMs are creaming at the chance of getting this kid. And throwing Ryan Leaf in to this discussion is a joke. Luck is the consensus number 1 if and when he comes out and there's no close 2nd. Leaf wasn't event he number 1 over Manning.

Luck is as highly a rated player as there has EVER been in the NFL draft. The kid has no weakness to pick apart.

And me saying this is no downer on Ponder, he may end up being a good qb.

Since the Vikings have no GM, they will probably take some bum from BumF*ck U. Of course this will be after executing a trade with someone to move down in the draft order and getting rif of Adrian Peterson's $100M contract since he got busted last night for not wearing a seat belt (CRIMINAL!).

FWIW, I talked to a buddy who knows Rosenfels. He was told, and I quote, "nobody gives a shit" in the locker room. Dolphins just collecting paychecks.

unless the patriots or packers somehow finish in last, he will not be going to a team who has the above

going first in a draft almost always gaurantees your going to a team who is rebuilding.

i dont think luck is going to question who the team is. i think he is in the nfl regardless...

and why not south beach.

if you stay in school you risk going to the following places the next year

A. Cleveland

B. Minny

C. Seattle

D. Miami again

I would say miami is a desirable place when considering the alternatives.

LETS GO MIAMI 0-16. it would be the first time in a while i get excited about being a dolphins fan if i could get luck in a dolphins uni!!!!!

Listened to Mike & Mike on the way to the office this AM and said Tony is a week or 2 from getting canned. After going 0-5 or whatever they are....I hear yah man...they know season is done and collecting pay checks....

Obviously I just want to find the future prop somewhere and risk a good chunk of change depending on odds....longer the season goes...the worse the odds will get. Obviously this is no "lock"....nothing is....just love for some us Madjackers to find the prop....pu some action in and cash the ticket while chatting about it for fun....

Cheers to you all guys!!!

There is no way whoever gets the #1 draft pick doesn't draft him, as someone said he is regarded as the best prospect in years. Even if the Colts got it , they would make him learn under Manning or just for the sake of traid bait take him.
