I don't think its 100% that luck leaves school, let alone goes to Miami.
In fact, who finishes in position to draft Luck, might be a big factor in his decision. Do they have a solid O-line? Whats their track record with young qb's. Do they have a top 5 running back? How are there receivers? Do they have a great possession extending tight end? Two or three burners that can catch the ball in traffic? Who is the offensive co-ordinator?
Luck's ideal, might not be what we might pick. Do you want a place with a veteran in his last or next to last season. As frustrating as it was for Rodgers, it may be he owes his success now to having a few years on the clip board.
A young qb's psyche is, in some, a very fragile entity. Thrown into the fire too soon, creates scars some can't get past.
Luck will probably get 70-80 million from his first two contracts. Hes a bright kid, and enjoying the freedom he has now, while he can, unless the set up is perfect, he may just opt for another year in college.
boola boola!
